I mean i guess but then they'd just be a worse UFC. I think Dan made a decent point about having a clear path for fighters to achieve success. You don't have to worry as much about politics/kissing the ass of the promoter to get favourable matchmaking/a title shot and you don't have to worry about "promoting" yourself.

I’ve heard many UFC fighters say Leon starts to tire out in later rounds….so I’m not sure what Dan is talking about when he says if Leon losses the first 2 rounds, that Leon will start to pick it up in later rounds.
I don’t see power playing a huge factor in this fight. Usman hits harder than Colby and Leon. Colby doesn’t hit that hard, but he does have combinations and Usman admitted he got rocked by Colby.
I think Colby needs to be on him relentlessly and be VERY cautious of his sneaky attacks. Colby has the better wrestling and cardio, but Leon has the better striking and that’s why I say he needs to overwhelm him in order to stop or reduce Leon’s strikes.

Paddy is 28 and if you watch his fights he definitely seems to have plateaued. He's been fighting almost the same in his last fight as he was in Cage Warriors. I'd say he's actually below average in evolution and adding things to his game and it's honestly a bit shocking how many little mistakes he makes and techniques that he's sloppy with. It's almost like he doesn't even try to improve at all and just keeps on doing the same old stuff.

Both kamaru and colby fights where very competetive, so mma math would say leon is fighting another high level athlete like kamaru but with a slighty diffrent style. And if leon was struggling in the first fight worse than colby seemingly was. Leon is in for a very tough fight, esp if 3rd kamaru fight could be contributed to age and leons gaming planning. He could be fighting a fresher, and more unkown force in colby. These dudes are like a love triangle. i think its should be a very competetive fight and they way they both match up to each other could be the biggest diffrence. kamaru is more precise striker and power wrestler, while colby is a cardio striker and cardio wrestler, will leon be able to handle the higher pace and pressure of colby trying to wear down leon cardio wise? is it possible colby starts to fatigue leon with his wrestling and that be the diffrence?
