    Great video. A friend of ours, when we lived in Panama, was a boat pilot that took all the boats through the canal....and she was a WOMAN!!!!

      That’s awesome. We saw so many of those boats and I’m sure she was very good. Lots of responsibility moving those monster sized ships through a tight passage. We were amazed at the Panama Canal and all engineering that went into designing and building it. Wonderful month in Panama and thanks again for connecting us to Linda. We sent her a link of our Boquete video. Hugs, John and Bev

    Love you both. I just returned from Panama and Boquete, my plan is to retire in Boquete. I honestly didn't know what to expect but Panama delivers! A great country with beautiful people. I can't wait to return and start my life in Boquete. I met some amazing people can't wait to return.
    Keep the videos coming !! I even got to met a few Utuber's from Nomadic Movement who are from the US and live off the grid. I have followed them for two years. Meeting a few of the Lila Farm family members was awesome plus it was the Flower fest in Boquete how beautiful.
    I was born with a gypsy and am so glad of it, I desire to see the world and get outside the box.
    Why Not !!

    Wow, so great that you had an awesome day! Seeing wild monkeys is still on my list. Have never come across any yet. Seeing the Panama canal is one thing, going on it another! Amazing! Sounds like you two are in the market for a music manager for your new career! Who knows, you may make it in the Panamanian pop market!

      Who wouldn’t want the job of managing the two worst singers in the world ?🤣. The Panama Canal is really cool. Riding alongside the giant container ships, watching the ships go through the locks and seeing the wildlife everywhere in the protected zones was very cool. Thanks for following along. John and Bev

    Panama looks amazing with a lot of things to do. I think John's and my humor are similar. When we visited the monkey temple in Kathmandu, I was trying to take a picture. They were moving all over the place. I told the monkeys to "stop monkeying around!"

    What a great great video! First opening John has a joke and sprinkles them in throughout 🤣🤣! Love both boat tours! I never been that close to a monkey, Bev you were so calm! The Music has me misty eyed (what are the titles). Fantastic job you two!!! ~Cara 😊

    What kind of vehicle were you in for the driving portions of the Ocean to Ocean tour? How many other people were in the vehicle with you?

    • @RetirementTravelers
      @RetirementTravelers  2 роки тому +1

      It was a very large van. 6 other passengers, plus a driver and guide. We were very pleased with them. You can see the actual vehicle towards the end of the video when they pick us up in the jungle. Hope this helps. John and Bev

      I actually went back and watched and it was more of a smaller bus. We remember that there were quite a few empty seats. It certainly wasn’t overcrowded.
