Love these glimpses into people's lives. Sad but very interesting. I can always imagine them going about their daily chores.

I always find it sad,i used to clean out houses of folk that died ,and many memories left behind ,and the things family's didn't want like memories from holidays clothes and so on just went to bin, truly breaks my heart so many have know one and sadly know one cares.

One day I am going to be watching your channel and I'm going to see my friends house on here!
He lives in the middle of nowhere in a rundown derelict looking house which is all overgrown and is a hoarder the inside is rammed!
I'm sure he would appreciate the company!

The singer sewing machine is an early one because it has the recessed knobs on the draws. If you have the serial number you can look it upon singer sewing machine database I'm no expert but im guessing 1890 - 1910.

Must be plenty still around especially useful for cottages without electricity.

Another great explore - thank you! The little spoon sitting in the silver-plated, shell-shaped dish at 4:07 is a sugar-shaker or sugar sieve used for sprinkling sugar over fruit or mince pies. Moving on to 14:40, I don't think these bicycles are Victorian but date from either the inter-war period or early post war... perhaps 1940's/50's. Great video.

A very nice find, they just took the expensive stuff and left it too rot, it looks like a old standard farm with a few cows pigs and chickens and some land.

Smashing little cottage, i can't help but wonder what happened to the people who lived in the abandoned properties you explore, it's sad to think they didn't have anyone to leave their homes and belongings too.
I've been following you for 3 or 4 months now, and I've noticed how consistent you are when it comes to treating people's homes and belongings with respect. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

Saw a nice antique Rudy glass in the first cabinet, my mum collects those. All these abandoned houses still have the meters read every month. Unless they have removed the meter. I was a meter reader for years and went to loads of abandoned properties. Once I went to a rural farm house to sight the electric meter, and got a shock from the wall. Had thick soled shoes on so was ok, idiot lines company accidentally reconnected the mains by mistake. All the wires were just hanging exposed and live.

Got one of those old singer sewing machines in my barn. They were built probably in many cities but here in South Bend Indiana we had the cabinet works which is sadly torn down but I did work in that building when it was a mental or part of it was a mental hospital type building. And one of the buildings on the other part of town is still there sadly 1956 several of the buildings burned which was considered the big fire here in town in that decade

I watch a lot of your explores, and enjoy them, possibly because it would seem that as humans we are nosey. I did feel on this one, however, that we were trampling all over an 80 year old woman's possessions and lifetime memories and that made me uncomfortable.

I use Chromecast to watch UA-cam, etc on t.v. Imagine my surprise when a few minutes into this vid the screen went blank and a bloody advert for voting Labour appeared! Don't normally get ads, and never during one of your videos, lol lol. Good little vid as usual, thanks. 😀

There were lots of items obviously for a woman, so it looks like the wife died, and then the husband either also died or moved away. The big framed print not long into the video is Salisbury Cathedral. I'd love to have the glazed display cabinet with the crystal glass items in. The displayed plates with the wide green borders might be Worcester, but I couldn't see them for long enough. I expect there are many more abandoned properties like this in Wales.
