Youre right about removing seats adding storage!! I took the back seat out of my 2 door JK and now live out of that rig. I’m 6’0 and can lay down flat on the platform I built in.
When I was looking at purchasing my gladiator, there was one set up slightly similar to this but without the fireplace and awning and it was $83,000! And stock parts. I wish I could afford that let alone this one!!!
Nothing bad about Glads, just their wheel base is too long even my 4dr JK is pushing it for hard off roading. Overlanding though sure. Especially if you're already considering a pick up I don't know how a Rubi Glad isn't one of your top options
@@ValFinale for serious offroading here in the mountains of NC i drive my TJ. That being said, i have ordered a gladiator rubicon for overlanding, family fun and camping. The only issue is that because i ordered a manual trans it is taking several months to get it in.

I saw it in person when you had it on display at the 2021 Mint 400. Nice build. I have a 2021 JTRD on 37" Nitto RG's. 28-30psi on road. I have a few do-dads but not as much weight as you (probably 800 lbs less). I get 18.5 around town and 20 on the freeway (averaging 70-80 mph). The fact that you're getting 22.5 mpg combined (including Offroad) is remarkable. I only got that mpg stock.
This build is really the pinnacle of overland rigs. Will definitely be my inspiration for the future. If I had some serious cash I love to see maybe engineering a way to make it so you have access to the front of the jeep as well. Would probably have to rip out the center console and passenger seat but would love it.
Wow....thanks!!!....Just when I think Im close to having my rig done I see this....somone is gonna have to explain the missing $100,000 to my wife now...lol. Great setup you have there.

Love this set up. I just got my gladiator a couple weeks ago and all I’ve got done is a lift and 37’s. But this guys set up is definitely the dream goal.
WA. absolutely! This rig is phenomenal. And the add ons still to come, 100% agree with would make it over the top. The amount of $ sunk into this has to be considerable. But well worth it for what he is doing with it. A bed and a toilet are must haves for over landing. Everything else is a luxury. lol
I know it's not the same but I've been running 2-door Wranglers since around 2004 and have never had the rear seat in it. I never have a need for more than one passenger and I actually use all that cargo space. Never complained about cargo space in a 2-door for that reason.
Good point, my 9 000 pound full size 7.3 liter SUV gets 18 mps off road and fully loaded. Diesel is where it is at, of and they can be tuned to much more. 450 hp in mine.
I can only imagine how much money he has put into that. I wish I lived closer to areas where I could enjoy my Gladiator the same way, looks like such a great time and money well spent.
Coming from a CDJR tech, you’ll be wishing you would’ve went with the 3.6 over the 3.0. Even though it’s underpowered, it is far more reliable. Which is what you want far off the road! And her again is where Mopar dropped the ball and doesn’t offer the 5.7.
Theirs ways to fix everything but the issue with main bearing failures. It's just not legal to do it to an onroad vehicle. Friends Dodge 4x4 with the 3.0 was getting 35mpg hiway when he bought it. Down to 22 mpg when Dodge got done with "Required firmware changes" Then the sooting happened and melted his intake. After that fix under warranty he did a delete and got back to 35mpg and a lot more HP an TQ. He never did get to the problems with the main bearings. He traded it in on a new one ton to tow a huge camper.
Can relate. After putting on a customer steel front bumper w/winch. Full skids. 3-inch lift and 32-inch tires (10 wide), class III hitch and @ 80lb each, sliders/rock rails, then seeing my daily driver drop to 10mpg city on a good day, I hesitate to grab the keys when I want to run out for a pizza. I have an Addictive desert designs bumper on my 2011 Tahoe. She’s running 35x12.50 nitto ridge grapplers on a 6” fabtech lift kit. I got alpha Rex headlights, arksen 84”x50”x6” roof rack, 22” light bar on top, 4 nitelite LED pods on the front, a Wilco offroad fire carrier with a full size spare to boot. Great video. Great looking rig. Like that Josh took the time to think about aesthetics as well as functionality. Love to see you guys do a video about the best ways to find other people to overland with. I often wonder how many people out there are living vicariously through you guys and would go out if they had a group of folks to go with.

Very cool rig. It's amazing what you can do to a Gladiator when you have a little imagination and a LOT of MONEY. I see the tires are 37;s, I saw the spare well had a tire in it. What size was the spare? Thanks again.
I think this is probably the best overland Gladiator setup I’ve seen. If they make those to fit any truck bed you should get one fitted to your Power Wagon.
Just go to your nearest Cerakote Shop and they can coat any part you want in any colour including the bronze parts underneath. It is a super tough coating.
How about an estimate or breakdown of total monetary investment? How much is spent to acquire all these bells and whistles seems to be rarely discussed.

This guy is in Hurricane UT and recovers people stuck or damaged in the dunes and mountains. I know you guys mod your Jeeps out the wazoo, bur until I watched Matt and his crew, I never saw anybody drag a recovery trailer where he does. Check him out.
I would consider 4.56 gears. And would definitely go with stronger axle shafts and driveshafts. Those 37” tires could really stress the factory parts. Y’all should check out the Big Bend region of Texas when it cools off in the fall.
