If you would like to get more dynamic range out of your footage, if your camera supports it, try shooting in a log profile VLOG, CINEV etc. in 10 bit.
This will give you a flatter image with more dynamic range, which will work best when applying a LKUT in post.

Hi question please ... I have the RF 28-70mm f/2 lens - do I need the 50mm f/1.2 ? I did see a video you did awhile back, just wondering if you have any updates on your opinion please? I greatly appreciate your input. Thank you!

Thank you for this video! I shot my first little video on my R6 during a photoshoot the other day with the intention to use it for a reel, but my video was so shaky! How do you keep your footage smooth - do you use a tripod or just hand held? Thanks again, I don’t want to give up on shooting video I just want to get better 😊😊

I have been researching a 360 camera. Which ones do you recommend?

No one can effectively shoot hybrid by themselves on a wedding day. Both suffer when this is tried. We all wish we could, but realistically its not feasible. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves. Sorry to be a downer but your clients deserve your full attention on one or the other.

Yeah, definitely tough to shoot photo & Video hybrid. We've done it in the past and delivered a full photo gallery and a 5 minute film but that was with a 3 person team. I do think it's possible to incorporate video into non-wedding photo sessions with intentionality and the right expectations.

I like KJ as a person but im not a fan of the vanilla editing she does its so over used and dated. When clients tell me light and airy I roll my eyes

🤣thanks? If your clients pay you 12k for photos, I’m sure you would control the eye roll. The point is, it may be vanilla to you but desirable to others and that’s the beauty and freedom of being a creative 👍

@@KatelynJames exactly why this is an art!
More people need to be accepting of others views (and not just in photography!). It may not be for you but if a photographer/videographer is successful.. then there are people out there who do appreciate their work. If you are different from them, that’s ok too. It may be the niche you are in is what makes you successful. And neither is “wrong”.
