There are certain exercises that even average people do on a daily basis that improves cognitive function. Constantly reading, memorizing songs. Saying something verbally and associating it with an image improves memory. You may not even notice because your memory will start to flow naturally. I don't have a complete eidetic memory, nor am I anywhere near the best, but I have been told to have a rather gifted one. My earliest memories are before I was 1 year old. The small things are sometimes easier to remember then the larger things. You just have to care or you'll have visual and auditory cues that tie something to another. I was very talkative when I was younger and that helps.
All of those that keep commenting everywhere about the questions being easy, they would never have gotten to the chair, which is one of the most difficult questions and it is TIMED.
