    *Works well for a DIY home improvement job **MyBest.Tools** A little sloppy in the cut. Water reservoir is too small. Cut one 20" tile - time to refill.*

    Another great video. Well presented and straight to the point. Here in the UK, we are quite behind with the latest tiling tools, so it's great to discover what's available through your channel. Cheers man.

    Ok. Thanks to review here, I've purchased this tool. I'm from the UK, so I have purchased the 110v version available over here. Interestingly, it can be used on a guide rail too. So I'm hoping this little beast can improve my portability. I'll keep you posted. Cheers for your video's dude.

    That is impressive, compact, you can use a rail with it for super accuracy, with a good vac cutting on top of a piece of foam, your pretty much dustless. Im all in, especially if it keeps the wet saw in the garage, where it belongs. Thanks

    Cheers m8, first of all, I wanna commend ur channel, really good job. Can u figure out what is the best diamond bit for holes for angle cutter (how many holes can it endure by cutting porcelain tiles. Tried a few and it varies from 40-60 holes but mybe I'm doing something wrong. Since they are not cheap at all, which one would you suggest as the most durable one?

    That saw looks like it’s more designed for cutting cement board, cement blocks, bricks and materials like that but it seems to cut tile with no problem. Definitely has some power. Nice review.

    • @LandbergTileTV

      Yup, brick, blocks and mostly stone/solid surface for countertops (5 inch blade)

    I've been using one of these for a few months now, had some issues with the Makita blades being out of balance and creating a lot of vibration causing poor quality cuts, figured out how to balance the blades and solved the issue but it's too bad they manufacture their diamond blades without considering the balance.

    I have a dewalt version and it's excellent for roof or deck tiles. I've only used it with the hose attachment and water.
    When the hose would accidentally be off or I accidentally did dry cut it was the same cloud as a grinder.
    Landberg, have you used the stabilla cross line , pole mounted green laser- Lax 50?
    Or anybody else for that matter-
    I want an opinion or two as I thought the construction of it didn't live up to my stabilla expectations. Cheap $$ though
    Reviews I've seen are not conclusive in my opinion
    Thanks

    • @LandbergTileTV
      @LandbergTileTV  4 роки тому

      Nope, have not used that laser. We have the dewalt green line.

    RPM's? Here in Australia we refer to it as RPM or revolutions per minute not revolutions per minutes. I'm just being pedantic. Great review but it doesn't look like it will run on a Makita tracksaw track???

    Nippers and grout floats, thanks great vid as always. I live in Bowling Green Kentucky and the only place I can get those tools are Lowe’s and Home Depot , I don’t want to order them online because I don’t know the quality. I remember a lot of years ago grout floats used to be great( made in America) . I used the float one time and the edges wore out , really piss me off.

    How about 6 inch sds max thinset removal blade comparison?
    I see a Bosch for 199.00 and a firecore for 89.00. Can the Bosch really be worth the extra money.

    Had a quick look at this today, I don't think you can use the better diamond blades with the thicker base on this machine. I think makita goofed on this one. I could be wrong but have tried putting on a thicker blade as opposed to the cheap regular masonry blade that it ships with.

  • @martinmiller7228

    Sure did see a lot of dust coming out the front on the bottom side with both methods. Not good for indoor use

    • @LandbergTileTV
      @LandbergTileTV  4 роки тому +1

      I agree, a more powerful dust extractor or vacuum would also definitely help.

    • @noshsreqd
      @noshsreqd 3 роки тому +1

      I built a cutting table with a slot and set up my vacuum to draw from a box under the table slot and a hose to the saw. Works beautiful and is absolutely dust free. Added a dust cyclone mounted to a 5 gallon bucket ahead of the vacuum and it captures 80% of the dust before it gets to the vacuum.

    Which one do you prefer between Makita and Beast hand held cutter ?

    • @LandbergTileTV
      @LandbergTileTV  5 років тому +1

      I like the Makita strength, but the beast has the water supply for wet cuts. It depends on what material you are cutting.

    FYI solid surface is different than quartz. Don't get em intermixed or people will be confused. Solid surface is material like Corian. Quartz is man made engineered stone.
