I don't understand the 80% rule. What is so bad about eating until you're full if you're eating reasonable portions for your body type, age, size etc. and you're eating healthy foods?
When you’re eating you don’t want to eat until you feel full. It takes your brain / body about 20minutes to process and recognise that you’re actually full so what people often do is end up eating too much / too large portions. Small and often is better.
@@jowuenscheI'm actually having trouble with that. I'm starting off, right now. I used to over-eat a lot, and I'm starting to eat high protein. It's rough right now.
You are correct about the blood sugar increase, insulin is the enemy of weight loss. The lower you keep the insulin exposure in your body the better the weight loss journey. Intermittent fasting is excellent way to lose weight as well cause you have high grelin level which helps you burn fat. The 80 percent rule is also a good rule. Is there a specific amount of grams of carbohydrates you calculate out? I had good experience limiting to 100 g of carbs.
Hi Jo it’s awesome to see your videos … tbh u were beutiful even before like a spark u have in ur eyes .. ur beutiful either ways .. hope u never kill the chubby girl in you .. can you start like classes for a fee

This whole “blood sugar spikes” is ridiculous. A plain baked sweet potato will spike your blood sugar, that’s natural when you eat carbs. Carbs are the bodies preferred source of energy. Whereas, a fat-heavy meal will not spike your blood sugar levels. Because it’s a fat source. Watermelon, and any other carb meal will spike your blood sugar. That’s normal. It goes down. The problems happen when the blood sugar levels don’t go down. Fats will lower blood sugar. So if you continue eating too much fat, diabetes becomes a problem. Diabetes happens when blood sugar spikes and doesn’t go down after a meal.
Yes Blood Spikes are normal. And yes it is also a problem when it doesn’t go down. Yet, for the purpose of having a more cautious consumption of food or even wanting to lose weight, it helps a lot to keep your blood sugar on a more steady level.
No, blood sugar spikes are not ridiculous. Having a glucose rollercoaster is the beginning of having a plethora of health-related problems. Eating potato on its own is not the best - this is also not a balanced meal. You need carbs, protein and fat to have steady glucose levels. Stop just discarding something that has scientific background just because you don’t want to adhere to science. Science HAS CONFIRMED that steady glucose levels are an absolute must if we want to have steady energy and be healthy.
I hope I don't offend you, but I have to ask this. Did your 🍒 fall? Any other girl over here who had lost 20 to 30 kg and already had big ones can reply. I'm in my weight loss journey after hypothyroidism messed my body up (my thyroid is finally working after five years!!!), I have to lose almost 30 kg and I'm scared about that. Even when I was in shape my 🍒 were big, but after gaining weight they got bigger, and now I'm scared that they fall or that I end up having loose skin. I mean, it's not A LOT of overweight, but I'm scared. Did that happen to you, girls who lost 20 to 30 kilos? Do you know how to avoid it? And what about cellullite, could you reduce it at least a little with a healthy lifestyle? And did your face change (not only your cheeks, also jawline and even eye area, mine looked totally different before). I need some help. I want to feel good in my skin again. Excuse my broken english, it's not my language and I'm doing my best. Thanks ☹️
Your english is fine. Are you sure you're not trolling ? Why ask such a personal question . Everyone's body is different. It isn't because of your weight has to do probably with your elasticity and age . You should probably ask a plastic surgeon
I get asked similar questions about loose skin on my stomach. I can tell you one thing: a little bit of loose skin (anywhere) doesn’t match the feeling of loving your own body
