I am from brazil if i get rich one day i will to some of his seminars silat suffian bela diri is brilliant and beatiful
Silat at least for me it's one of the wonderful things that the great creator give to this world for good people who are don't want to hurt no one else only mind their own business and also it's bring a lot of honor and also a lot of respect for South East Asia
great breakfalls by first attacker,on a hard gym floor, not easy-maul just shows the vast array of tecnik in silat excellently-the master art silat
Wonderful. The martial arts community is greatly benefited from your work. Thank you very much. Hope you achieve all of your goals.

A dangerous breaking techique...
Any classes in the us yet
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Mr. Mornie, quick question but first some facts. I was born without a sternum, I have no chest plate bone and need to protect my upper body, chest. A 10 year old child could punch me near full strength and will kill me. What would be your best recommendation on how to protect my upper body from being harmed? Thank you in advance.
Umbra Vatum , write tex message to his website than you should get reply from him lots quicker.
silat from malaysia/indonesia....
+Shahrul Nizam actually silat from nusantara
+mpu gandrik nusantara saturumpun
Ngapa slalu ad yg primordic-etnosentric gini komen ny? I prefer to say if silat is martial art from south east asia with their uniquely style from each area nor country in area
Rq Au agreed
Perlukah melabel sesuatu?? Beratus tahun dahulu mana ada Malaysia, indonesia dan negara2 asia tenggara yg lain? Kenapa nak bermegahkan diri sedangkan pengajar silat dan kuntau tidak melabelkan ilmu mereka.
I don't understand, where's the "flying" aspect of the actual lock?
i believe the idea of using the motion of thrown the attacker while completing the armbar is the goal , a reconstructive take on the traditional flying armbar ( at least that what i understood from the video demonstration)
The arm is broken by the guy's own bodyweight as he's flying.
Its while the attacker is in the arm bar he controls them.. as he kneels down & simultaneously moves the wrist or lower arm up to the opponents left shoulder . Ull get the result of throwing the opponent.. watch it carefully ull see
I would like to see this in a clip from full contact fight, but i am pretty sure I will never see.
It will end in the very first second.
Let me guess... MMA, right???

This is aikijutsu technique so whey people said that aiki isn't effective in real life !!!???
It seems like the way he executes and applies the technique is more pratical against western style fighting than the japanese way. But I feel the japanese way could be customized to deal with western styles. Same princples, different applications.
Only people who haven't stepped into a dojo their entire life says those shit.
+samir Ahchouch Maul is effective because he uses a whole range of techniques, both in attacking and defending. In many (if not most or all) aiki vids, the viewer is given the impression the arm is given away to the defender, so people say "of course it's going to get twisted off, what the hell do you expect?". Looking at Steven Seagal do it in a movie is even worse, that's like watching an robot do it's thing in a game - it's not going to fail, on top of being unrealistic.
Anyway, I'm wondering if this is exclusively an aikijutsu technique. I think I've seen something similar in other types of silat.
That's just my opinion though, I might be wrong on this.
I agree. This looks more like jujutsu than silat. This guru happens to know aikijujutsu as well.
actually not true the Combat Aikijujutsu manner in which these applied and the way I teach it and my teachers before me is exactly like this, as a matter of fact, this technique is taught in my yellow belt syllabus and the controlling is standard kansetsu waza priciples, maybe your used to seeing water down JJ too much but true Aikijujutsu as taught 2700 yrs ago and is still taught by some us utilizing the most minimal of force maximum result. Hei yoshin zanshin Kyusho uke-Now that said this instructor is very well trained and executes his knowledge excellently, but when you think about it all these arts your comparing are all branches off the same tree at on point or another in history.
Shazam
its looks like Aikido! Use enemies power
No not really, you force them in other direction
fake aikido
🤣
the victim goes fly not agressor
nicee
