I think this is my first ever comment on UA-cam, but seriously good video! Super underrated - I’m a new loyal subscriber! Keep it up and hope to see more soon.
George I’m honoured to be worthy of your first UA-cam comment and I thank you so much for your kind words, means a hell of a lot! So glad you liked it and thank you for subbing! Stay tuned for something scary coming very soon!! 🫡🫡
Another ripper from you mate! I reckon there was a speeding ticket in there somewhere too so whack another 100 on top 😂
Much love my guy, thank you so much! Hahaha yes mate exactly that!!! 😅😂
Similiar cost for me, I rent the same plane in California, i paid $400 dollars for 3 hours of Flight time, Wet price(gas included)
Wowza I thought it would have been way cheaper in the states but I guess not! Thanks for sharing and happy flying!!
Is that fuel tank gauge for the wing tanks stuck in this video? You had not noticed it yet?
Yeah this was the same plane! We noticed it on this flight yeah!
@@RoutesAbove new subscriber from the USA. Keep up the great videos!
@@Fishbone4u Why thank you very much!! Glad you enjoyed and plenty more where that came from very soon!
You're very underrated
Music to my ears Saqeeb, thank you so much! Stay tuned for some exciting stuff coming soon 👀👀
You also need to budget £10k+ for your general aviation licence, and another £10k+ for your IR(A) licence. You need to live near an airport with a hire fleet, or lay out eye-watering sums in depreciation, insurance and maintenance etc for your own plane. And you need to feel comfortable with indulging in the most environmentally unfriendly and selfish form of personal transport...
Right, because running a piston engine in a plane is so much worse than running a piston engine in a car...
@gnJubilee I've just done a quick comparison of a journey in a Cessna 172 vs the same journey in my fuel-efficient ICE car. Bearing in mind the fuel efficiency and density the Cessna will create around 9 times the impact in terms of CO2. There is also the noise nuisance (I used to live near a general aviation airstrip and it's a pain), the need for large and expensive ground facilities, and the embodied CO2 in the manufacture of the plane and all the spares it uses during its lifetime. General aviation is by any standards an indulgent and environmentally damaging way to travel.
@@tullochgorum6323 6CO 2 + 6H 2 O → C 6 H 12 O 6 + 6O 2; therefore CO2 is the cornerstone of life. Without it, we all die.
@@tullochgorum6323 yea but it's bloody good fun and compared to people taking flights multiple times a year to far away places on airliners the impact is probably similar. Let's just stay at home shall we.
@@kip_san There are literally dozens of adventurous sports that consume far less resources and create far less noise and pollution. And your argument also assumes that private aviators don't take as many commercial flights as the average person, which is patently untrue.
