- HORRIFIC footage shows a heroic British-Israeli soldier fighting Hamas as he bravely throws back the grenades they attack him with.
Aner Shapiro, 22, died in the brutal October 7 Hamas music festival massacre, as he protected partygoers and caught seven deadly explosives with his bare hands.
His mother told Kan News that Shapiro stood by the entrance of a bomb shelter where around 30 festival goers were hiding from the attack - tossing the grenades back outside.

In the Hamas propaganda, they claim 11,000 civilians killed, but not a single terrorist or ‘militant’. It seems that Hamas is invincible, while the civilians suffer the most from the war. How convenient!
But the truth is that Hamas is responsible for all the Gazan civilians killed in this war, because they use their area to launch deadly attacks on innocent people in Israel.
If a man hides behind a nursery, and fires a rocket at a nursery with your children inside, killing them, do you let him go? Do you let the killer walk free, because he hides behind the innocent? After eighth grenade blast in his hands terrorists threw some more and opened gunfire inside to hit survived with ricochet. They already had no time to kill the rest and gone. 13 wounded people survived and witnessed in addition to what you see here.
Aner saved not just these people but also those, to whom he won time to take cover.

It killed him, at which point Hamas entered and butchered the civilians he was trying to protect. He was unarmed and off duty.

This guy's name is Aner Elkayam Shapiro, he is 22 years old and he is a soldier who was on holiday leave and went to celebrate at a party in Nova. From the testimonies of people who survived the inferno inside the shelter - at first he saw the terrorists together with his friends, quickly called his military base and informed them. When he entered the shelter there were 27 people in it. When the terrorists arrived, he repelled them using broken glass and bare hands. There are photos published by survivors from the shelter, in the photos you see him standing in the doorway with a bottle that he broke and improvised a knife from, he hoped that the terrorists would come in with weapons and then he could attack them. Everyone was there in a panic, screaming panic, he took command of the event, told them, 'Hello, my name is Anar, I am a fighter in the Nahal Patrol. Don't worry, we are here near a bad base, a big base that is nearby. I am talking to My guys, the army will come to you automatically, don't worry, everything is fine' Anar managed to protect the entrance to the shelter with his body and the lives of several survivors. He decided to stand in front of the shelter and any grenade that was thrown, he would catch it and throw it. He told them, If I don't succeed or get hurt, someone after me will try to do the same.' Every time the terrorists threw a grenade into the shield, he caught it and threw it out before it could explode. After 7 times he managed to throw grenades out - the eighth grenade exploded in his hands. You can hear it in the background towards the end The screams of death in Hebrew of the almost 30 people who were in this small shelter "they are killing us", and Aner screaming "grenade" in Hebrew, throwing the grenades back while he is putting his life at risk. All this and he is only a 22-year-old boy. This is the Israeli-Jewish spirit. Real fighters. You can count the grenades you see in the video being thrown from the shelter.🇮🇱😔
