Gotta point out my own mistake! On the stock disk, I say "bore condition" Twice... cuz... I accidentally typed that into the script and didnt think twice about it. The first set of markings is the BARREL condition, the second set is the BORE condition!
I have to step in on the rubber deflector thing on the Hakim, there were rubber deflector covers that were made, they consist of a cylindrical portion with a rectangular flap that is held closed with rivets. I don't know why they were not distributed with the rifles when they were imported.
1:40 this shit is like when they say the title of the movie in the movie itself. On a more serious note, what an absolute beauty of a rifle. I've kind of given up on ever being able to find one of these compared to their more pedestrian Egyptian cousins.
One big Ljungman thumb up on this one! Great lines on those rifles. Curious how those clips are hanging up so much though. May be my screen, but they look brass as opposed to the steel swedish clips I remember. Also, Merr Chrimmis, Bolty.
Had one once (before semi autos got verboten here in Aust) came with bayonet & tool/parts kit .. a work of art itself) .. superb metallurgy and accuracy with low recoil plus the round is flat shooting with unsurpassed bc & sd ..better by far than an SLR /M14 / garand etc .. believe me I've shot them all .
This is a great video I throughly enjoy both hakim and ag42b but one error is that the hakims did have rubber ejector that was held together by rivets and has a tendency to be broken off
oh absolutely. If the Ag42 was as short as a G43 and had a charging handle instead of the sliding dust cover, it would be leaps and bounds superior to a G41/43 (and simpler and cheaper to make!)

One of, if not the most underrated semi-auto battle rifles ever built.

Great rifle, accurate and smooth, the Swede. Never shot an Hakim. They do look cool.

so those are Japanese Arisaka clips! they are the same as swede clips.
@@boltforward3611 Oh, fancy! I've yet to find those. Somehow found two Siamese Mauser clips though...
Gotta say, that AG42’s condition is MINT!

As cinemasins would say: roll credits
where can a person get mag for the Swedish gun i have one but somebody wanted the mag more than me now i cant find one
I wouldnt know, they are rare to find. Ebay, LibertyTreeCollecters, buymilsurp (all websites lol)
I appreciate the swedish making one of the coolest rifles of the pre-WW2 era, and then nerfing it with an idiotic reload cycle.
Sometimes you gotta balance it out or else the warzone will be dominated by a single meta...
I dare say that the AG42B is better than the G41 and even G43
