GOT The Beat debuted in January 2022 with “Step Back.” They are the 1st unit of SM Entertainment’s project girl group Girls On Top (GOT). It consists of girls from different generations and groups, and the members can change in the future. Currently, this group has BoA (Soloist from 1st Gen), Taeyeon & Hyoyeon (Girls’ Generation/SNSD from 2nd Gen), Wendy & Seulgi (Red Velvet from 3rd Gen), and Winter & Karina (Aespa from 4th Gen). They have a stage performance only for their debut song, “Step Back.” However, they released both a stage performance (which came first) and a MV for their comeback song, “Stamp On It.” They also just recently released a mini-album. I can go on and on about these legendary women, but that would be an entire essay. Just know that each of these ladies have a lot of discography (both solo and group activity) out there, and I would recommend checking them out if you guys are interested!
The fact that the eldest member (BoA) of this unit has debuted longer than the youngest member (aespa’s Winter) has been alive amazed me, and now they’re doing music together 🔥🔥
They are a project group from SM Entertainment. All of them belongs to a different group under SM. Girls’ Generation (Taeyeon & Hyo) Redvelvet (Wendy & Seulgi) Aespa (Karina & Winter) & Boa a soloist. They are a combination of 4 generations of girl groups. So they are viewed as a super group, all are ace and most them are main vocalist/dancers/rappers. You can also check their debut song Step back from last year 🤍 Hope this helps! This is a group composed of members from different girl groups under the same company, SM entertainment.
Boa is a legendary soloist who debuted early 2000s and has many releases (unfortunately I am not familiar with her work but I recognize her efforts for kpop and the company itself).
Then two members Taeyeon and Hyoyeon are from Girls Generation. This is a second gen legendary group that was one of the groups responsible for kpop breaking into the west.
