Cuz he led 2 teams to the world series by 25 years old and if not for judge and boone he may have 2 rings right now......also 40 WAR by 25 years old and missed 2020....also has hit over 400 on base% every single year even at 19. Also he hasnt even hit his prime. Bonds was just getting started at 25...
@@DemCorp-AgentsOfCarnage I don’t get it too. Kinda get blaming on those two for this years but what they got to do with 2019 Nationals loss to Houston?
Just seeing their numbers and it still hard to believe that a team would give Soto a bigger contract than Judge. He is not even a better defensive player than Judge and also, he is not a bigger draw than judge. I would understand the Mets would probably give him that considering how desperate they are of a star and its owner willing to spend a crazy amount of money.
@@DemCorp-AgentsOfCarnage Better than I would. Forget trying that line of justification. Seen it far too many times before in more sports than just this one. Doesn't matter...you're not cutting his pay if he has a bad playoff, so the argument doesn't hold water. You pay based on potential, not for production.
@@NeilTruick not a bad playoffs.....the worst playoff career. So much worse than bad than u can imagine. If he doesnt help u win a ring hes not worth anything. Juan soto had an 1100 ops this postseason thats ridiculous
I would offer him 15 years, 701 million. But with opt outs built in starting after the fifth season and being available every other season through the end of the contract. That's a yearly salary that you can live with, and likely he opts out after the fifth season. Then we get 5 prime Soto seasons and don't have to worry about any regression going forward. Or we can choose to sign him to a new deal. I don't think anybody would be upset to pay him like 47 million a year for 5 years.
As a Yankees fan, he’s not worth this sweepstakes. He’s great at hitting, mediocre at everything else. Judge is older but an all around better player. Spend elsewhere
Left field Defense is so ridiculously overrated in baseball. There is only 1 play ever few games that truly effect the outcome of the game. And he messes that up maybe once every 20 games? Its ridiculous to talk about defense aka catching fly balls😂
This sounds so much like Trump. "If we lose, its rigged. I won, so...yay me." Yankee fans are all acting like they dont want Soto and hes not worth whatever the Mets pay because they know hes gone already.
My Alexa heard the video and started running an ad 💀
why do people think Soto worth 600m seeing the stat line on the screen

The more money Scott Boras gets for his clients the more money he gets paid

Tell me you don't understand "age" without actually telling me...
He also more clutch in the playoffs than Judge.
Just look st those numbers. You tell me who's worth 600 million
I'm sorry. I want Soto to stay a Yankee. Full stop. I'm not paying him more than Judge. I can't do it. The screen tells you why.
unfortunately that's not how it works. payroll evolves quickly.
Oh yeah? How does Judge play when the lights are brightest?
Judge is 33. Soto is 26.

Kay sounds like a scorned ex-girlfriend about Soto. Let it go man.

They wouldn't do that cuz hes hoping to get another contract at 36 im betting he signs no more than a 10 year deal watch
