I've heard that the ML ones are not "fake", but most of them are products that didn't pass Hasbro's QC and therefore cannot be selled on retail. That's why third-parties sell them on sites such as Aliexpress. The Mafex, SHF on the other hand are a different story lol. Most of them feel cheap and fake
Most of these KO 's are intended mainly for the Asian market where copyright laws are hard to enforce and the original products are either too expensive or have a smaller market share/ presence.

This is not true. This was the case for specific loose figures in the early 2000s but after 2012 or so it transitioned to full on recreations
