So, was this.... Daytime.... FLIGHT TIME! 😂 Awesome place The Motorist, been there many times to car & bike meets. Enjoyed the flying for a nice change. Great video Ben!
Always great too see some flight time! It's really nice as someone who assembles aero products to see the other end of what we do, really appreciate all that's going on during flight. Awesome to see your view an the places you fly over! Nice😎
I didn't know how i felt about a flying video, but after this, i would love to see more of them. It looks so much fun just to go up there and switch off from all your daily struggles for a while. The only difficult decision is where do you go next time👍
Ben, your best video to date, great flying, I'm not a pilot like yourself but spent lots of time sat in the right seat of aircraft & helicopters on jobs. The Motorist looks a fabulous place with great meets in their calendar! Working nights so still on catch up on the last month of your videos.
Awesome video mate. Just bear in mind people watch for you, so don't be afraid to offer some variety, I personally enjoy the flying as much as the recoveries, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the bike stuff too. Your visual running commentary also helps keeps engagement/interest, it's also cool you can relate to and show us where you've been in the truck, helps tie everything together. Damn, 2 pieces of music you used I use regularly for work videos, hehe, the music used at take off from the car meet, and the music at Cadwell. Mic system was good, no worse than any other people I've seen do flight videos, I know the mic needs to be pretty close to you for comms and that's dictated, but maybe pull it away a tiny tiny bit, should help the audio peaking for the recording. All them modern cars and I'm going, ooh look at the XR2, ooh look at that Escort, ooh look at that Golf haha.
Thanks for the advice mate, been speaking to a mate tonight and he said the same about the mic being too close. I'll get there with it 👍. Thanks for commenting

Awesome video Ben. Love the flying video’s. My first ever plane flight was in a small plane out of White Waltham airfield with a friend from the BBC he had a plain there.
Hi Ben, watched your epic video last night and I was blown away ( no pun intended) but omg what a video I can't belive how you made it look like a every day thing like see you love just flying over to Sherburn in helmet I will call in at Chadwell park on my way back see you to night and your piloting skills were just so laid back, has for Sherburn I used to call in at squires cafe every Sunday morning ride out on my way to whitby and Scarborough and Chadwell park as always been my favourite race circuit used to love watching Shane shake Byrne ride round there specifically on the paul bird ducati🤪🤪👍👍
Love watching your flying videos. We had several Chippies at Binbrook back in the day. Used to get joy rides as young cadets regularly with pilots on lightnings. We sadly lost a display pilot one year. A strange story about that -- and being gobby -- 😂 connected me to PC Green (Greenie) stationed at Sleaford 😂

Best you tube vid seen for ages..(apart from your last one..) love the flying stuff them long wings must give an awesome amount of lift....? take off in like 50ft..? there was probably a typhoon.. low and too your left.... hiding checking...it was you and your you tube.... was waiting for you to buzz the tower at Coningsby....... even my mum watched this... Thanks for doing more flying videos Ben. I really enjoy them and find it fascinating seeing these places from the air, hearing the ATC coms was interesting too. Would love to see more of your air travels around the UK. Have you ever visited the Shuttleworth collection of vintage aircraft and vehicles at Old Warden airfield?

Mate, lovely surprise getting that video, just in time for tea. Bored my family with this trip through nostalgia for me. I lived on the same street in Shropshire I do now until I was 9 and we moved to swinderby for my step dad to game keep the woods at the top of your shot. And we moved from hull, next to Humber bridge, to live here now 🤣😂🤣 alot in-between but yeah, funny that I thought. Oh and if been round one race track in my life, on a bike. I think you can guess where. Have a blinder Saturday. Hope you get legal things sorted 😘😘😘
I’ve always wanted to learn how to fly, I just can’t afford it, and I’d be highly unlikely as use it enough as justify the expense. But I love trying to decode the comms traffic. You all talk so fast and in a strange language.🤪. Then there is all the buttons/ dials and switches. Interesting stuff.😀
Can I ask how you go on flying in an area where there are so many fighter jets practicing? I live in Sutton Bridge and there are no commercial flight paths over us which i assume is because of the military, but we do get a Tiger Moth doing stunts occasionally and light planes which appear to follow the river nene out to The Wash and then follow the coastline yet that is where RAF Holbeach bombing range is.
Hi, great question. There are invisible corridors and pathways that the jets stay in, outside of these areas we use something called "see and avoid". If I want to go into these corridors or Controlled Airspace then I simply call Coningsby Radar and they will let me in if able. Similar to when I crossed Stansted on the other flying video I did.
