    Please get a hair cut/trim to remove the split ends. Split ends don’t magically go away. The mask very temporarily sealed your split ends back together. In a few days the split ends will reappear again. They can only be removed by a trim. Your hair will thank you. 😀 Also I highly recommend a leave in conditioner spray after k18.

    I've been going to cosmetology straight after secondary school and I've been loving to share my knowledge. Products that claim to fix damage hair are just place holder, they give the affect of healthy hair. But NOTHING will repair damage hair permanently. Cutting off you're damaged hair is the only way to get rid of you're damaged hair.

    • @udontevenwannaknowbruv
      @udontevenwannaknowbruv Рік тому +1

      Then how are you supposed to bleach your hair without damaging it 💀 I really wanna go blonde but my hair type is naturally wavy and dry af so I’m afraid it’ll get damaged even when I get it done at a high end salon. I’ve gotten a caramel brown balayage multiple times before and my hair always gets damaged and dry at the ends from that so I’m not sure how to go blonde

    • @rittikachoudhury8309

      Exactly ! People seem to forget that hair is made up of dead cells so obviously you cannot make it healthy

    • @blehhh264
      @blehhh264 Рік тому +1

      @Vanny Lidl my advice would be give your hair a break, cut off your damaged ends, find products for your dry hair (leave in conditioner or oils) and after you continue to take care of your hair, you can go to a salon and ask a professional if your hair is healthy enough to under go a harsh chemical like Bleach.

    • @kendra_39
      @kendra_39 Рік тому +1

      Yes but, would products like this one kind of prevent damaged hair? I have naturally wavy hair that is messy and dry but also oily. I straighten my hair all the time and I'm worried about killing my hair.

    • @blehhh264
      @blehhh264 Рік тому +1

      @Kendra_ If your hair is already damaged, using the product won't stop anything. It might give the illusion of healthy hair, but unfortunately, nothing can fix damaged hair. As for your straightening, firstly I'd like to say your wavy hair is beautiful, I have loose waves and it took me a while to realize that and get the right products for me, if you're straighting your hair everyday, it is extremely unhealthy for you hair, and can already be damaged all now. There's no problem with doing so every couple weeks or so, but please reconsider straightening your beautiful hair.
      Also keeping splitting ends on your hair because you don't want to cut your hair is dangerous, the split strands will start to travel up and cause all of your hair to be damaged.

    You can't actually repair split ends. What they claim they're doing is repairing them but the wording is deceptive. What the product is actually doing is VISUALLY repairing split ends but not actually physically repairing them.

    • @sbeny9594
      @sbeny9594 Рік тому +28

      It's the k18 peptide..
      K18 reconnects broken keratin chains, restoring hairs elasticity and strength
      The k18 (peptide) is the only molecule that reconnects the broken keratin and olaplex does'nt. They working on for almost 10 years ☺️
      So it's not only visually, k18 peptide traveling into the inner-most layers of hair to reach the core polypeptide chains (keratin chains) and reconnect the broken chain.
      But yeah it is better to cut out the split ends and then start the treatment 👍
