Yeah because Amazon would say there’s no diversity but this is what I imagine Tolkien had envisioned when writing what I believe to be the best piece of art in human history.
What's with the huge pointy ears? It seems that in all these AI generated adaptations of Tolkien (and actually nearly every adaptation in general) the ears of Elves and now the Ainur are used to say "look, this definitely is not a Man!". I believe there may be one passing reference in Tolkien's letters that Elvish ears may have been "leaf-shaped" i.e with a slight point, but certainly not that they were over sized with huge points. In contrast, he definitely wrote that it was difficult to tell a Numenorian and an Elf apart if the Numenorian was clean shaven they looked so similar i.e. no ridiculously pointy ears on the Elves!
It`s AI, it only regurgitates what`s in the dataset, there are more original works portraying elves with huge ears than not, from other IPs, and of course details like this won`t mean anything for this soulless product.

The silmarillion was the most beautiful story I read as a child and even years later when lord of the rings were made so well, I doubted that silmarillion could ever be made, requiring too much more special effects than Hollywood was capable of, but you have shown me that AI is up to the task! Good job! Keep it up! And add more content please!

I still have to watch this, I just discovered it, just have to say I love the idea. While unfortunately Tolkien didn't get to publish the Silmarillion and there are obviously issues with it, it's by far the most important of the whole legendarium. What's crazy is if they had just lied and said they 'found' the rings of power books. No one would know the difference And would love it. People don't like because the internet told them not to
@@seemsxlegit8039 darling, that's not true. You see someone who watches anything related to Silmarillion is well... 95% of them - a fan of Tolkien's writings. That being said if you read the Sil, lotr and appendix you would understand , truly understand how far off they really went. Moreover they tried to subdue moral and spsiritual values of the books in favour of certain political agendas and useless trends of which Tolkien and his writings had nothing to do with. If you would have read them - no, I am not saying you're stupid because you didn't but you are an imbecile (just a little bit) for saying something like you just did without being entirely informed. By the way there aren't any "Rings of power" books 🤣🤣🤣
RoP, while not perfect, is entirely different from this. They have rights issues and legal issues to deal with. They also work with real people. Being able to work well with AI doesn't mean someone can do great in a real TV show type setup. That said, there's a lot of promise here with what the creator did. Hopefully they continue to improve this.
Still doesn’t beat the hard work of Tales Of The Rings & Council Of The Rings with his epic Tolkien source material friendly replacement episodes to replace ROPs crap episodes. Pure awesomeness. His own art and masterful voice acting

They wouldn't and they shouldn't. It will soon pass and be forgotten as the abomination that merely attempted a scratch on Tolkien's world...
Don’t have the rights to this.
What's crazy is if they had just lied and said they 'found' the rings of power books. No one would know the difference And would love it. People don't like because the internet told them not to
@@Leon-ym9qm indeed they do not.
This was far more engrossing and beautiful than RoP. They definitely should’ve hired YOU!
Excuse me but have you watched ROP ? The relationship that is shown here is exactly what is going on with Sauron and Galadriel
This was beautiful. I’m subscribed and can’t wait for your continuation of the Silmarillion.
Still doesn’t beat the hard work of Tales Of The Rings & Council Of The Rings with his epic Tolkien source material friendly replacement episodes to replace ROPs crap episodes. Pure awesomeness. His own art and masterful voice acting
A truthful and creative adaptation. Well done
There are nice Tolkien legendarium artists, created great animations with their tech skills & AI knowledge to create great stuff like what Ruins Of Gondolin made for example as well as The Challenge Of Fingolfin Movie by The Cottage Of Lost Play
Use that and the books for inspiration
That was beautiful. Look forward to more. Thank you.
😳 The beginning was always my favorite.
What is thissssss??????? Where have you been all my life? Stunning simply stunning
This Is so beautiful, thank you for creating this

This is beautiful and stunning! I need these stories on the big screen 😻
No! May the big studios never touch these stories! They'll transmogrify them into garbage for apes who can't / won't read.
Great job. Can’t wait for the next episode!
Wow ! Where is Tolkien's fans. You are missing a treasure.
It would taken ages for me to understand the book. Thanks for it
Es increíblemente bello. Es un sueño hecho realidad que alguien dedique el esfuerzo de crear the Silmarillion en imágenes. Te mando mi apoyo. Saludos
