Speedy skating is one of the best attributes to have. Kris Draper had a full and very successful career because he skated fast and was very active. He regularly forechecked opponents trying to setup for their zone exit by chasing the puck carrier out from behind his own net and not giving them time or space to setup the breakout pass. Fast skating along with tenacious play and hopefully penalty killing makes average players quite valuable. Jett may turn out to be a very good player.
Strangely enough it became more of a specific knitpicking jab around the same time that these social media generations came of age. I remember that in the 90s, they'd call out small players (Fleury) and thin goalies (Hasek) for being small... But then it'd always be about the person having defeated the odds.. while not knit picking about 5'10,5'11, etc. But nowadays, the younger generation who live and die on twitter instagram Reddit tiktok or whatever bracket they fall into... They'll knit pick on every detail as though it's sports analytics.. when it's actually not. It's a bit annoying but it's just their culture. I'll get into a hockey or sports conversation with a stranger.. and it'll just go to all sorts of skin-deep arm chair analyses of this and that.... It's a world view and it's not going away. Much like how they've created an overly unrealistic and abusive view of a woman's expected appearance to the point where some girls have eating disorders or depression, while others feel the need to wear fake finger nails and fake eyelashes like it's the norm. Women and men do it and it's just the way the new generation is..not every one, but many. When it comes to analyzing athletes they know, it's a " what have you done for me lately attitude " as mickey Redmond would say. When it's an athlete they don't know , it's a judge em based on a random skin deep bio detail and then throw away the person's worth as soon as they can. On another note, when are the red wings going to stop ruining Griffins players careers by forcing them to stagnate in Europe or the AHL. Hirose bergrenn edvinson Johansen and a bunch of guys who just went back to play in euro leagues who are done and gone... All of whom would have seen the better part of 82 games if they had been drafted by Calgary or the Coyotes or some other team. It's sad to watch this go on... Wtf Pesce for 6mil or all these other NHL veterans... Wtf.. bring up pellika and Johansen and edvinson and spend the salary cap dollars on Kane Raymond Seider and others long term. Seriously confusing
Great episode fellas!

Bultman builds a logical analytical argument. He's sold me on the Luchanko for the Wings first pick.
Didnt Get the game code work for the hockey gm
Trouba and chabot roumer to wings thouts about that?
At 17 years old he may still grow another inch also.
It should be taboo to throw out that 5'11" players are small, I don't know when it became a thing to focus on a few inches of height
