People like to complain about Larkin not being a "real" 1C, but he dominated against the Jets. Winning puck battles and 70% of faceoffs, carrying the puck into the O zone, getting back on D, scoring and leading his team, he was great.

For his age and injuries, Patrick Kane is a great player all around. "He's a gamer and threat all the time."

Remember a few weeks ago when the Zamboni only had to resurface the ice that the Wings were defending? The players are having fum and performing and playing entertaining hockey. HOPE THE TURNAROUND CONTINUES.

The best montra in many years. "PFH" The mountain of talent has finally come through. I don't know how the Wings will fare this season, but they are fun to watch again.. LGRW.

Thank you Todd, you brought life to this team. Seider, Ray, Kaner, and Debrincat have played some of the best hockey in the NHL lately. Seider is absolutely an elite defensemen at this point, and Simon is improving. Once ASP is part of this team, it’s going to be a good time. Go Wings. Little side note, I liked what Todd said after the game “who cares how I feel, people come to watch the players, not the coach.” He’s just happy to give the boys their confidence back.

Not too sure what you guys are watching. You are gonna glaze an absolute waste of space doing nothing in veleno but johanson is out third rated defensemen on analytics so you're gonna trash a guy only being out played by Simon and seider with the little minutes he has he needs 18 minutes a night he's by far our third best defender. Like you guys spewed stats all podcast but how do you miss he is out third rated defensemen. While glazing a waste of ice in veleno. Jeff Petrey is old slow and a defensive liability what are you watching?

We are watching the development of Raymond as a top tier hockey player. This past calendar year has seen him become a force, in the NHL. Mo has already reached those heights and the rest of the team has come to life. LGRW 🏒

That was 4 losses in a row for the Jets and they clearly didn’t play at all like they can. Good game by the Wings but let’s see how they play against a team like Winnipeg when they’re firing on all cylinders.

it's funny how all the Wings homer channels and x accounts sound embarrassed now when they mention Kane and try to almost rush past it or not mention him, bc you all turned on him and spent months trashing him and disrespecting him constantly and now are trying to rush past it like you didn't just do that. Brian Fisher here was complaining on x a week or two ago about ESPN or TNT using Kane to promote their broadcast of a Wings game rather than Raymond. he was utterly indignant that one of the biggest draws and biggest stars in league history was being used for promotion rather than his homegrown guy.

They are playing SO much harder all 200 feet. Taking away space for the opponent is the key difference to me.

The biggest difference I see in their play is that they're playing much more physical. Hits matter and it looks like McLellan told everyone (especially Petry, Rasmussen, and Veleno) to put the opposition on their asses instead of floating by them

Guys smiling on the bench and fully engaged is a complete 180 from where they were before Christmas…completely agree the change is related to using the players talents and what they bring, instead of trying shove a system on players it doesn’t fit. TMC has structure but also giving the players enough freedom to play hockey. Love the change!!

So glad that they aren't playing that super conservative style they did under LaLonde. They're actually allowed to shoot the puck and push the offense. Our defense was never strong enough to play that kind of style so we were just getting scored on with little to no push back with offense. No wonder the fans were booing at games. No more of that. No more of those ridiculous 10 shots in three periods type of games.

how about the Soderbloom fight from the other night.

This felt like a trap game to me so to win after some bad bounces and sloppy play is a huge plus. The boys have some emotion finally. LGRW
