- This is a COMPLETELY UNBIASED RV REVIEW of the 2020 @WinnebagoRVs Micro Minnie 1700BH travel trailer. In this video we take you on a tour of the exterior and interior to tell you about it's features and the things we like best or wish were different. This is an awesome small trailer to accommodate a family. It is light weight and basic yet hits all the necessary points. We like that it is small and light so that it can be easily towed and without slides it decreases some folk's worries about extra mechanical components. These things also decrease the price. Our dislikes would be the sinks, a single one in the kitchen and lack of one in the bathroom. We loved having all of the beds made up. We feel this trailer is not for the RV sometimer or full-timer but is really well suited to the weekender or vacationer. The 1700BH could be used by a solo traveller, especially if the person had pets, or a couple but is better suited to a family because of the bunk space. But we always like to think outside of the box with bunk space. In this micro minnie the bottom bunk flips up for storage or it could be a desk space or these bunks could be great places for kennels or cages. Also, a couple with intentions of bringing the grand kids along most of the time may find this the perfect trailer.

Love my 1700BH. Requires a few minor upgrades in my opinion which you can DIY; better mattress, replace with higher density foam on both dinette seat cushion bottoms, get the porcelain Dometic toilet and lose the plastic one, shower head upgrade and swap those 12V USB ports if they still use the junk ones. Minus the mattress, all easy on the wallet. Oh yeah, I installed a bidet as well. Best upgrade to all of the above. No more mud butt while on the road 🤙🏼
Great to hear you love your Minnie. We think everyone needs to try out their RV for a bit and find out what their pain points are and then go ahead and make the mods that work for them. @@DoesSizeMatter We haven't had a chance to go anywhere with it. We have a small trip to Lava Hot Springs planned then the Oregon coast in October.
@@utdallaz Nice, Lava Hot Springs sounds good. We haven't been there but it sounds like our kind of place. We love the Oregon Coast it is sooo beautiful but October could be kind of cold and rainy. Make sure you bring your crabbing supplies that is so fun too. Enjoy your time there and stay safe.
How do you get in touch with a rep?
The only way we know of for a customer to get in touch with a rep is to go to an RV Show where the reps come to help dealerships answer questions on their products and since we can't have RV shows right now that is going to be tough for you. If you have a specific question we would be happy to help or the people at dealerships can help sometimes. If they can't they do have access to the reps to help get your questions answered.
