I was wondering if you were using direct mode too. I am unable to use the direct mode because it is too sensitive and it is difficult to control the vehicle even if I set the settings. :(
I use direct mode as well. It's all thumbstick control. Move it in smaller increments

@@TheGoliath right, I think it’s a motivation or mental thing, you want to beat those who are out in front so you are pushing yourself to get there as opposed to being and staying front, no one is there to make you feel pressured. That ram you took earlier made you more determined to push through and deliver which you did.
