First time drifting in The Crew 2 with a Wheel!

- I invited @SidWaj to help me teach how to drift in The Crew 2 with a steering wheel. First you need Popular rank and then some in-game credits to buy yourself the RX-7 but make sure you get the drift spec version. So you cannot drift with normal cars, but you can drift with Drift Spec cars. Also lower the wheel rotation to 540 or 360 degrees. Higher wheel rotation does not work well in this game, especially when cornering in races. I am glad that I learned how to drift with the help of my new friend, make sure you give him the love that he deserves!

I personally drift with the RX7 and it's such a lovely car to drift, it has the perfect control and you can do a lot of stuff with it. I can get lots of points with it.
I literally started drifting with the RX7 in this game and almost never used another car
@@istillplayroblox6952 i've used almost every car you can to drift and RX7 works the best, if you wanna have lots of fun losing control on the car, i'd go with the mclaren, that car is almost undriftable
Agreed, it feels just smoother and much more manageable, at first I always used dodge charger but it didn't really go well
i actually drift the ford focus rs and it drifts really nicely
@@devonsorber7225 it comes down to handling, I've never tested the Focus, but I can see how it drifts, small hatch and very good for cornering.

The only problem about crew 2 is the physics it's like so uncomfortable just to drift like the car is like moving too fast while drifting sideways, but nevertheless everything about the game is amazing
on the keyboard its uncomfortable, but on controller or steering wheel its lovely
You're probably going too hard on the throttle. You wanna be in 1st or 2nd gear for tight corners and up to 3rd for wider corners. You really only ever speed up to build some momentum.
Adjust pro setting n tune car you can slide like car X me and my boy be tandem like clean close slow tandems not that fast shit

@@Goosiest And in other classes pro settings you can also decrease grip of the wheels , turn off ESP, put breaking balance to the front. Drift assist works as an automatic countersteer making it much easier to control your drift but making your transitions slower and 360s harder. Aero distribution set more towards the front of the car will also result in crazy oversteer. So it is possible to make other cars go sideways however they will then get pretty useless in their own disciplines and you can't enter drift events in them.
Oh i forgot there are hovercraft vehicles and they always go drifting xd.

I do hope for the next Crew game they add a bit more "realism" to the physics, keep it a pure arcade racing game of course but would be nice to see some proper physics and animations for initiating drifts etc, that is my only issue with TC2. It's one of those relax games, you don't have to put all your concentration into it, which is what I love about it.
I just want actual wheel support and wheel settings.

I play in controller and it does feel weird drifting with the wheel in this game but is sure fun.
You could "technically" drift realistically in the game doing countersteer with a certain setup (counter steering is still twitchy though). I haven't shared it yet to the community because i'm still finding the right spot after 4 years playing this game.

That Nissan 370 Z was the first drift car I bought and it has mad power so it's really great for drifting and really slides alot to keep the scores up. Somehow after a time you get used to the power but you'll be fine with throttle management.

I used to play this game with steering wheel, it’s cool if you adjust the settings the most realistic you can, and turning off the “drift assist” is the best thing you can do💯

I have played TC2 for a long time and i've tried so many things to drift normal cars and even be more realistic, it's pretty arcade the game but in drift specs, there are some adjustments that you could touch just to make it harder and drift more. Also the game have too much helps abled, there's one that allows you to take all the controll in the car and it lets you oversteer as in any other game.
