  • In this video I go over some of the most important methods of welding. Pay attention and listen closely as I give you some detailed methods and break it all down for you. Welding is a big part of my life. I am out here on a daily basis evolving and educating myself. I'm here to educate you all including your friends and instructors. Tell your welding teachers about me. Have them play my videos for you in class. I dont know it all but I know what I'm doing and I'm here to help you as much as I can. I believe in spreading the knowledge world wide and reaching people in the world who dont have access to the education. Let me be your professor and guide you to into your future of becoming a welder. I mig I tig and I stick weld. Carbon and stainless are all I mess with. My industry is always in demand and won't ever fade away. If you are thinking about becoming a welder and your friends are too just know I can help you as much as i can. I'm not the best but iv been taught by some of them. Featured on the discovery channel many years ago for my skilled craft and even published in the newspaper here in Colorado for being passionate about my welding. And it dont stop there. I was recruited many years ago into the feild out of the shop due to my ambition and dedication to learn and excel. I'd like to start a flame in your heart and spread it like wildfire. I should have been on here a long time ago. But I truly feel God had a plan for me. And this is gods plan. To help as many people as I can. Enjoy the video we got lots coming your way. Be prepared.

I have been a professional engineer working in wafer fab infrastructure for 30 years. I have hobby welded for nearly 40 years. I have always been amazed at the skill level pipe welders show day in day out. Recently I have been upgrading my stick welding skills now I have a 200amp AC/DC machine. I'm getting better (finally no undercut!) and have just ordered my first box of 7018's. Thanks for taking us along so we can learn from an expert!

You’re a different kind of animal in this welding biz. Great welder, very respectful and knowledgeable. Great work, always brother. I pray one day, when I have my company fully established, I’ll be able to travel out to you and have you give me a few lessons on downhill pipeline welding. I’m a pretty fast and great learner, believe it or not, I learn a great deal from watch via UA-cam becuz I pay deep deep attention and then I apply it soon as I’m out working (welding). But I wouldn’t mind paying a few bucks to learn more up close with deeper examination.

If you have been welding since school then one can make a decent living round here with a stinger ... thank you for posting! It was you and others like you that inspired me to learn. 4 years ago I taught myself to SMAW watching videos like yours. I am a natural! I really wish that the high school I attended here would have had a welding course!!! I have put something together on the side with my welding skill. I earn my living pouring concrete walls and flat work .... I hate concrete!! Pays real good though and affords me nice welding gear. There is nothing more that i enjoys more than welding!!! Thanks again for posting! Wish you were closer so I could get in on your work shop!! Good day.

I welded for 15 years and loved every minute of it. I loved learning new tricks and striving to make each weld better than the last just like you seem to! In 1997 I placed 2nd in the Nation at the VICA welding competition in Kansas City MO. In 2010 I was on my way to work right outside of Saint Paul VA. building a new power plant and a Suburban crosses the Median of the Highway and hit us head on. I'm lucky to be alive but the crash did shatter my lower back, broke a few ribs, my left wrist and quite a few more injuries that Sadly Ended my Career. It is very nice to see someone that has the same passion and enthusiasm for welding as I did. Thanks for the video dude! I sure do miss working out of town, being able to tell everyone that I was a Pipe Welder! Thanks again, Aaron Holloway from Erwin Tennessee...

You are an artist man! I do a lot of welding around the farm and on the side. Not a pro. I did my first pipe fence the other day. Tried 6010 with my Trailblazer. Couldn’t get a good bead for crap. Tried the whip and pause and all that. My 6013s were too small so I grabbed what I use mostly, 7018. Tried the right way going up hill with 7018. It worked but was ugly. Broke the rules and went down hill on the pipe with 7018. Surprisingly it went perfect. Beads came out beautiful and even survived a smack from a tractor trailer a few weeks later. In the end, I adapted and left with a happy customer.

What he does is not for every welder. He makes it look easy. You have two kinda welders structure or pipe welder an you have a shop welder. What he does is where the benjamins are you make a kill doin what he does. Then you have the shop welder that goes to the same building everyday. He couldnt do the shop thang its boring as hell. What he does is what you want to do you get more experience at it in different angles. At the shop you have all your weld on a table or a bench. What he does is hard as hell

I know it goes without saying, but you've got some talent. I know far too many welders who specialize in one thing or another but can't Stick-weld to save their lives. In my eyes, it's the most crucial skill to have, since Stick is the most versatile and cost-effective process there is. Shielding gas is expensive these days.

Learn to look just ahead of your puddle as soon as you get dialed in and get your hood away from the smoke and hovering over the arc. I get off to the side in the direction i am welding.
