I can't believe this video! made my day! I brought a 2006 grandeur new and still have it! Same colour too. The sat nav in you're is after market. It only came with a radio & 6 stacker CD. I have 235K on the clock and still going strong. I have the exact problem with the seat position as l am also 6.2" I used the cruise control a lot to relieve pressure on my leg. It's been a very reliable car. I have replaced a few parts after 150K , starter motor, alternator and front drive shafts and bushes, that's about it, over 17 years . The rear blind is a failure, but that's about it. Saw a recent ytube, a guy in the states brought one at auction for 800 US and in good condition, cheers.
Hyundai (and Kia) have been on a journey here in the uk. They brought much longer warranties to the market with 5 and 7 year warranties 20 or so years ago. Whilst everyone else only offered you a year!! No idea what you guys (and the americans) want with these large displacement engines. An auto 3.8 V6 would just be a disaster over here but then petrol here at over 3 aussie dollars a litre you can see why. We'd much rather drive round with a 1 litre - 1.5 litre 3-4 cylinder. But then we're environmentally conscious too ;-). Talking of which- kia/hyundai are now at the very top of the tree in terms of cars on market (bar none). Of course I'm talking battery electric. Their products are innovative. Very high performance especially efficiency. Great technology Inc vehicle to load. And really exciting style. They've won. The Koreans have done good.
They are everywhere! Even though they have recently had mass engine failures worldwide in a couple of models they are not walking away from the issue and are honouring all replacements to the tunes of billions. So not a good thing that they obviously have a batch of engines that go BOOM! But their honour says it all. Could you imagine GM being that transparent and honest???
Hi there, I found one a 3.3 L with only 15,000 km, looks band new, but I'm terrifying getting into this gamble paying 10,000 euros and then find the car full of errors, So, what do you advice me to check before ? base on your experiment, and what about the price? I found it in Spain. Thanks
Yea mine is a 2007 and in excellent condition took her out yesterday and what a surprise she ran like it was a lexus so comfortable and the power from the 3.3 engine was fantastic I'm very pleased
Yeah it threw me off guard when I heard a Spanish voice suddenly blurting out. Same for me re the Grandy but it sort of grew on me. Hope you are well champ. Always nice to hear from you.
Not really. It is basically a sonata. I have ordered parts on Fleabay no drama also. Turns out these are quite the rare car. A top line sonata would be a close fit.
Naaww cheers Ben. Thank you! I only just saw this on my feed. Im not used to asking or getting money but need to do it I guess if I want to improve the channel and try to move to a nice HQ at some point.

My 2010 only had 58k on it when I got it and it came with a clunk from the front end due to the control arm bushing being completely trashed.

Love the review, the Spanish GPS at the end had me dying haha. Grandys aren't my cup of tea, but for the price it's a good deal.

it certainly seems like a nice car but it is hard to get parts for it?

@@FLIPMYRIDE thx
Have you done anything about the wobble when turning left
Expert reckons the drive shaft might have issues hence causing the wobble. So I have ordered new ones
.
My grandeur got the same wobble as well mate
@@precivillar2326 ahh okay. How many kms? The inspection I had said there are a combination of many little things cause the wobble and the clunks.
She got about 270756 ks still going strong 💪
