Craft is pleased to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Travis’ breakthrough year with two exciting releases: "Live at Glastonbury ’99," plus expanded editions of "The Man Who." Available for the very first time, "Live at Glastonbury ’99: has been a long-sought-after recording by fans of Travis. The 16-song set includes such favorites as the band’s first UK Top-20 single, “More Than Us,” “Driftwood,” “Happy,” and “Turn.” Live at Glastonbury ’99 will be available on CD, as a two-LP set, and digitally. Also available on is a blue vinyl edition, exclusive to select retailers worldwide (HMV - UK, Indie retail - US, and Saturn MediaMarkt - Germany).
For 'The Man Who' expanded edition, Travis hand-selected 19 B-sides, which will be available on digital and CD reissues of the album. Additionally, a deluxe box set (previously offered in a limited quantity via Travis’ online store, available again now due to popular demand) offers the expanded album on two CDs and two LPs, while the 12” x 12” lift-top box will also include a 58-page commemorative photobook. Estuvieron en México en el 2007, aunque no se llenó el palacio de los deportes éramos más de 10 mil personas cantando a todo lo que daba, fue el mejor concierto de la historia de Travis, cantaron casi 3 horas, Francis dijo que "nosotros habíamos pagado por verlos, pero en realidad ellos deberían habernos pagado a nosotros por ser el mejor público" casi se le salían las lágrimas de emoción al decir eso. La mejor parte fue cuando cantaron Slide Show (con todo y hidden track), no pensé que la fueran a cantar, era tanta mi emoción al cantarla que la gente a mi alrededor me hacían espacio para que me acercara más al escenario fue sumamente increíble!!!
Los volví a ver en México en el 2013 (en el Corona Capital) y ya no tocaron Slide Show. Luego los vi de nuevo en Guadalajara en el 2016 en un auditorio más pequeño, me acerqué lo más que pude y cada que había un espacio de silencio (entre canción y canción cuando Francis iba a hablar al público) yo gritaba todo lo que podía pidiendo Slide Show, grité tanto que interrumpí a Francis y dijo "diablos ese tipo sí que es insistente", pero igual no la tocaron :(.
Fue un excelente concierto
En un momento, pasadas las 3:30 hrs de concierto, Fran volteó a ver a la consola y a un roadie y les preguntó 'qué más tocamos?'. No sé si fuimos el mejor público, pero sí que un concierto así, momentos así...tienen el poder de cambiarte la vida.
