The problem with buzzfeed taste tests is that they always wait too long to eat the food so it gets all soggy and cold
yep like no wonder the fries are soggy, you took sackfuls of food, drove to a hotel, went up an elevator, and ate there. any fries are gonna be soggy at that point. i've had whataburger many times, when they're super slow or busy, late at night and during the day. i've never had soggy fries unless i waited too long to eat them (by too long i'm talking 30+ minutes).
Mateo DeGracia No the youtuber Shane Dawson waits too long for his taste tests. It'll be like two days before he eats it and it's just the nastiest, crumpled lump ever. But the Buzzfeed people at most wait a few hours.

Grew up and lived in NYC most of my life, until I went to Rice for my undergrads. Besides H-E-B, Whataburger is the thing I miss the most about Texas. The Monterey Melt and honey chicken biscuit were my favorites. Blows all the other fast food burger out of the water.
As someone who isn't super into fast food, I've got to say, the honey butter chicken biscuit looked pretty good..

It's the best thing I've tasted coming from a fast food place. Their patty melt is also pretty bomb. Although I don't go often because the one near me takes at least 20 minutes to get your order out 90% of the time. I usually go after events or the club since it's open 24 hours. It hits the spot lol
The honey butter chicken biscuit is life, I live in Houston so we're not all yeehaw and what not its very urban and everyday without fail kids skip first period/are tardy because they went to whataburger for a honey butter chicken biscuit before 1st period.

If you wanna save money on paying 50 cents for a slice of cheese order a Patty Melt. If you don't want the grilled onions or patty melt sauce ask for it without that and you can replace the Creamy Pepper sauce with mustard and then add the veggies (lettuce, tomato, pickles, &dominos) that come on a regular Whataburger at no extra charge!
Also, HIGHLY recommend a sausage biscuit on the jalapeño cheddar biscuit add Monterey Jack cheese.
Also, if you just want a sausage and cheese biscuit that's NOT part of a meal, ask for a sausage biscuit add cheese because it's cheaper.
And if you "whatasize" your meal to a Large it IS 75 cents, but if you upgrade the size on the fries AND drink it's 75 cents for both.
I love that whataburger! I've been there with my dad because he lives there while my mom lives in north Texas.
After I saw this I had to drive to my nearest Whataburger and get a double meat with cheese and a honey biscuit.

Patty Melt, Vanilla Malt, and French Fries with the Spicy Ketchup. I've never gotten a different order when going to Whataburger because those 4 items in combination are amazing.
