Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf UA-cam channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

Ashley, if you stay righty while being a lefty, you're natural ball flight is going to be a fade. Don't fight it! On your downswing, feel like you're pulling the club with your left (dominant) hand. Your follow-through will be shorter but you will gain more power and clubhead speed. Speaking from experience. Love the videos!
Colored balls show up better at night. I can’t believe you guys film in my stomping grounds. I grew up there. I used to live across the street from that gas station and I worked at the cracker Barrell behind McDonald’s. I practice at palm harbor a lot lately. So cool to see familiar places on UA-cam.

Don’t make the switch Ashley, stay a righty. My favorite fast food treat is called a sneak peek, it’s a slush with soft serve ice cream from The Generals Headquarters in Shafter,Ca. My wife and I enjoy watching your videos and hopefully soon we will make it to Florida to do some garage sales.
Favorite fast food dessert - Frosty for sure. FYI - Ben Hogan was LH but converted to RH because of equipment availability. My dad started me out RH for the same reason but, after a frustrating beginner season, I switched - much better results.

Love your quick paced scramble format and the deals that you're finding out there on some really classic clubs. I worked on a golf course for 20 years and love the game. Went from raking sandtraps to cutting cups to irrigation tech and ended up asst. superintendent and lead mechanic. I now drive truck for a living in Washington state and have not had the opportunity to play in over 15 yrs. Your enjoyment of the game has awakened the golf bug in me. Now subscribed and thinking about the mini-banana splits our course used to make.... Thanks for the great memories and videos that's got me polishing up my Black Cat's that Freddy Couples made so famous, love 'em! And classics also.
FINALLY as mentioned we've all been screaming for Ash to go lefty since we learned she wasn't in her Right mind lol Great vid as usual. practice makes perfect lol and my favorite Fast food ice cream treat used to be McDonalds I'd buy a hot apple pie and a medium vanilla milkshake and ask for a Large cup. Demolish the hot apple pie into large cup while mixing in vanilla milkshake stir drink enjoy leftovers that don't fit in straw.

Y’all found the unicorns of golf. I have a lefty daughter who played through high school and I looked everywhere for a starter set but ended up spending a fortune for ladies lefty Cobras and a Ping putter. She did great though and still plays them. Great set of clubs

The strawberry dipped cones from checkers are LEGIT! From a fellow lefty, even brand new clubs are hard to find. Used and thrifted lefty clubs are about as possible as John 1 putting. 😂

As a lefty I can tell you it's very hard to find decent left handed clubs. Jon may tell me this is wrong, but I have been told by some teaching pros that if you can you should play the opposite hand you are so that your dominant hand is pulling instead of pushing. Easier to make corrections.

Love your channel guys! My first comment since finding you and binge watching for hours. Tip on the gopro: turn ISO up to max. Put on vivid. Play with settings a little and should help with low light. I just got back into golf since school and bought a package set. I wish I went thrift hunting instead now. Keep it up!

Nike slingshots are phenomenal. I upgraded to PXG irons this year, but I ran Nike slingshot for years, even with the Golf Pride CP2 grips.
I'm a left handed golfer and that is a great find! Its really hard to find left handed clubs anywhere. I had to use my grandpa's clubs just to play for the last three years, but they are great clubs! 😊. McDonald's Oreo mcflurry is my favorite ice cream from fast food!
I’ve played right and putted left for almost 40 years now. When paired up with someone it’s fun to see how many holes go by before they notice.
There was a golf coach from a school in my conference in the early 70s in Northern Illinois that was scratch from both sides. The best athletic feat I ever got to witness. Another fun video. There will be one satiated gator on that course soon.
Best fast food desert treat has to be Dq blizzard with butterfingers. I’m a lefty and it is so hard to find clubs even if you go to golf shops. They just don’t carry them or many of them.

Since Ashley puts so well right handed she ought to keep putting like that. When I was a freshman in high school our girls team captain played left handed and putted righty. But whatever Ashley enjoys is perfect love yalls videos.
I'm a lefty too learned to play righty because back in the 80s left handed club were expensive after about a year I switched to lefty but I still carry a right handed pitching wedge in case I get into a tough spot
As usual a great video. As a leftie myself I know how difficult it can be to find clubs. I knew a guy once who was also a leftie but used right handed clubs. I couldn`t watch him drive because I expected his left elbow to dislocate every time, but he always hit them long and straight.

My fave takeaway has to be my local Chinese the Tai Chang. Their pancakes with duck are stunning. Either club would make me so happy 😊

I have hit a few left-handed shots in my day, but only with a turned-over iron, and the results range from horrible to "Dang! That's incredible!" There’s a boxer dog that is always on the 8th hole at my local course and he always comes to say high and watch us swing. He doesn’t try to take the balls like that pooch did but always love a good course dog.

I passed on some Ping i3+ clubs this past week because they where left handed. I am now wishing I had bought them. Favorite desert would be anything with Cherries.
If you live in an area that is having a second quarantine/lockdown a putter and a putting green and you can practice until the driving ranges open back up before full time at the muni.semi private or expensive private courses soon.
I’ve enjoyed spending time with my golf loving fiancé watching your videos. We live in the Midwest so golfing season for him is over I would say with our weather, but he’s excited to get me out on the course next year. I joked with him saying I’m not worth new clubs so the thrift stores & garage sales are the way to go for me starting out. Lol Also blizzards from DQ are always great, but to switch it up I’ll say a big slice of chocolate cake from Portillo’s!
