That is interesting. I was learning about the Navajo and they also talk of terrible monsters that destroyed the people. In there stories two hero twins defeat the monsters, and in one case the remnants of a monster was used for making flint tools. The Cheyenne also receiving the sacred arrows from their heroes (inside bear mountain?). Theirs is an amazing story that the peoples have held onto, and I hope they can keep it. thanks for sharing
