All right, I don't wish to argue. I have only heard Conny say good things about Kraftwerk, and Kraftwerk good things about Conny (although neither of them are talkative types). What others say, I'm not really competent.
Of course, with original I mean founders ;) But prob you confused Ralf and Florian, because it's Ralf who's on stage these days. Anyway, I see Conny as a tutor or guardian, but Kraftwerk is purely Ralf&Florian's idea.
Noh, not really: they both found Kraftwerk, but there was a half year period when Ralf had left, after a year of band's existence. Conny helped them to make their first few albums, and gave good advice, like any band he helped. But Kraftwerk and their spirit existed before that, and nobody else could had done it. Is it not disrespectful towards Conny to say the talented people who he saw & wished to help, and who's ideals he thought beyond music industry's superficiality, are in reality twats?

Man that show was awesome, I remember watching it as I grew up in the 70's... does anyone know if the show is still on the air?
Saw them at the Brixtion academy in 2004 and yes they still use the same robots
Exactly, and if you look closer you'll see that one of the robots is Fernando Abrantes, for example.
