After seeing Habies video I also tried this, I gave up after walking through pervomay because every 5 minutes or so I ended up mummy wrapped in my cables and had to dizzily spin myself free
The creator of this video addressed a similar comment talking about how this is a "rip-off" of Habie, and he said that he takes a lot of inspiration from him, but that he is interested in trying to deviate and make his own thing. Please don't be too upset at him, he is making wonderful content and is still developing his channel.
I am literally watching the habie rat stream vod as you comment this. So yes the brain rot has control of me No but seriously, you put a smile on my face too with this comment. Genuinely, thank you
Man I didn’t know I was missing so much good content. Your videos are what I watch when I don’t have any Habie to watch. Keep up the good work and hopefully some day you can collab or something with Habie
I love physically walking in games that work with it. I've dedicated a bunch of time into walking games like this(and some videos). Currently I've walked 16km to finish HL:A(very buggy to walk), 8km for Boneworks, 8km for Bonelabs, Hundreds of km for H3VR, and maybe Hundreds in VRChat. The technique does have a name. Well several names. You can find it as Glitch walking(rec room), Role Play walking(VRChat), Real Locomotion(VRChat), Infinite Walking(VRChat) or as Manual Redirected Walking(Science name)
The turn in one direction, stick turn in the other method is what I started it use late game after realizing it looked much better in post. It gave this super trippy feeling that I was just walking constantly in a straight line and made me forget I was pacing back and fourth Now that you’ve given me the idea…. I’ve never played boneworks… maybe my first play through should be like this…
@@blockglock When I walked Boneworks, I found it to be pretty boring. It's easy to see that it's made to be played with a joystick, which is a shame. But still very satisfying to go through.
@@blockglock Bit of a story. When I first learned about Redirected Walking, I was playing a lot of H3VR Take and Hold at the time. So I wanted to be able to finish a 5 hold using only redirected walking. I was able to learn Redirected Walking and hotdog destruction at the same time. Took me a few weeks to get good enough at H3 and Redirected Walking to successfully complete my first 5 Hold with only walking. Soon after I found a competitive group that did tournaments. So I spend even more time training to get good enough to compete against joystick and armswingers. This was during the pandemic so I had a lot of free time. I took a screenshot of each of my scores, when I looked at them I had over 200 images(2 per one SteamVR screenshot). Each hold is about a mile so I estimated about 100 miles of walking in Take and Hold. I did a little video about it if you want to know more detiails.
imma be real, these videos are more entertaining than most vr youtubers now. all i ask is to keep thinking of your subscribers as a community rather than a business. love the videos, keep it up man :)
If you had a larger area, there is another method of walking in a straight line forever: walking in a big circle whilst ingame turning the other way slowly
bro i love this game and i thought about doing the same thing when i saw his vid but man you are a legend for actually doing it pls get this man to 10k
Just based on the quality alone of this video, I would guess that you have upwards of a million subs! I have no doubt that if you keep at it you will achieve that and more :)
I'm sorry, how the absolute hell does this video only have 750 views, this is better than most AAA games no joke. Just found another great channel and hopefully you keep growing.
0:49 You must remember that furries did make that model and put it into BoneLab with the full expectation that it would be shot. But, yes we are weird, this is evidence of that.
Hold on, you're making excellent VR content, have a voice that's pleasant to listen to, AND have a Titanfall 2 pfp? I shall be watching you with great interest. And subscribing. Definitely subscribing :)
I would day you should try to take your own direction when it comes to vr content. This is pretty much a copy of habies content. Now i think you could make ot as a youtuber definetly you could get millions. But you need to find your own identity.
You know what? I think you have a point. While I tried really hard to make this video in almost a clone of habie's editing style as a joke, I do think you're right. I'm not gonna get anywhere biggybacking off what someone else found works
Its cool but you would be way better if you weren't literally trying to be identical to other creators, kinda just feels like a rip off. Good luck friend.
I’ve been thinking about this all day. You’re completely right. Yes, I took *heavy* influence from habie, but at this point it’s gone too far. I don’t want to end up as nothing more than a “habie-lite”. Now the obstacle is trying to figure out this out. Thank you for the criticism. Seriously
@blockglock usually people get offended, and defensive when critiqued, you on the other hand take it as inspiration to be better and understand that you do want to be better, because of that I have no doubts you'll find it, and be super successful, I'm subbing because I need more creators with mindsets like yours. Regardless you still put alot of effort into your work my friend!
Maybe this video was actually just a big ploy to get the attention of CM games and secure access to ITR2 early access. Who knows??
Please don't take this comment seriously
@blockglock kidding not kidding

Perks of wireless hmds: you can walk across the radius without dizzy spinning
This is why we need the valve deckard
wow, you did a great job mimicking habies video style, even down to the intro

This is getting out hand, now there’s 2 Habie’s
Not that I mind, we need more of these channels
You have watched so many Habie videos that the brain rot has full control of you. You for sure put a smile on this random internet user's face :)

What was the “hundreds of km in H3VR?” What’s in that game besides guns that warrants that much walking?
