Facts
If this isn't Yogi's best drum performance of his entire career with Demon Hunter, I don't know what is. The drums in this song are well-written, powerful, subtle, and exceptionally performed.
The entire song is one of the best Demon Hunter has ever written, but the drum performance here really stands out. Outstanding.

I have been a huge fan for a long time, but "Revolutions" takes the prize for one of the best songs in the DH discography, most replayed song for '22 (there's still time), and my favorite from Exile. What I love most about this song is the mood whiplash. The intro is merciless in its heaviness and kinda makes you think this song will be brutal throughout. The verses are softer, yet heavy-handed. The pre-chorus is hard-hitting and the way Ryan sings reminds me of the singer from Becoming the Archetype. And finally, the chorus is mellow and almost sounds happy. That lead guitar hits just right. 10/10 song, guys. Thank you!

I'm just starting to understand the lyrics and it's so much more than I first imagined. first I was interpreting that it was just talking about revolutions like a rebellion or the industrial revolution but a revolution is the time period in when a planet circles around the sun, which makes the rest of the lyrics make so much more sense.
"Carry Me Down" helped me repent and accept Jesus as my Lord and saviour but "Revolutions" is my favorite song. I will always love Demon Hunter. God bless you all.🙏🏾✝🕊

Y'all's music has gotten me through a lot of hard times in my life. I'm so happy I got to see y'all in Dallas and I have no regret in having your true defiance album cover (which was the first album I ever listened to) along with the words Save Sorrow For The Souls In Doubt tattooed on my arm.
