Big fan of the look and sound but, outside of the Ventures and Dick Dale, surf instrumentals will only take you so far and limit your audience, IMHO. Ask the Surfaries and Chantays, among others of the golden age of surf music. I think at least one of you guys sings or get a singer. Anyway, how about an updated cover of Jan and Dean's Little Old Lady from Pasadena. Well, it broke them out. And then there's the whole Beach Boys songbook which is just begging for a Surfrajette interpretation 🙂
