    I think most music and audio people would probably agree that you reeeally don't need 32 bit depth. That extra detail in the low amplitude sounds is really only useful for highly processed uses. I don't think there's a perceivable difference between 16 bit 24 bit or 32 bit when listening without any processing. Like if you wanna record better audio, there are so many things that have a higher impact than 16 or 24 vs 32 bit depth.

    • @FulaanCreative
      @FulaanCreative  3 місяці тому

      I agree. When mentioning 32 bit float I was mainly talking about the aspect that you don't have to worry about setting recording levels or clipping etc. Quality wise 24bit is more than enough.

      @@jedthei6099 its very vlean, clear, can be used for a few different setups, and I’d buy and recommend time and time again. Im a high quality production person and this mic granted me that. I would’ve went with the Rode Wireless Pro system without question but at the time they were on back order. Im happy I saved some money and got a great system for now, easy to use straight out the box. Not many videos out when I got it to help me figure out how I should set gain and what not but you can look up videos explaining concepts and try things out for yourself. I’m currently at a gain of 4 for studio style yt videos. Sounds great even when you’re talking low but not to where you’re sounding like your on top of the mic but rather in front of it.

    Hi there, thank you for the review! I was wondering if the 24bit sampling of the microphone is referred to its maximum capability or it actually has some internal pre-amps that give you 24bits no matter what. I'm asking because I would pair it with a Lumix S1H which has only 16bit audio recording internally, so if this gives you 24bit with preamps it would be a total game changer. Cheers!

    off topic but i need help regarding one of your previous videos
    im thinking of buying a canon r50 but i need your opinion on this. I got a canon 700D with crop mood installed, having a blast using it and learning about color grading with davinci resolve, now my problem is the lack of autofocus when using crop mood, yeah its a great cheap camera if you have it on a tripod and focus the scene you want and leave it like that but for handheld street filming i really wanted the autofocus and some sort of stabilization , also how is the color grading on the r50 compared to the 14bit raw from crop mood? can you push the colors a fair bit without getting the quality ruined? in your opinion is it worth the upgrade? currently costs 780€ with the Rfs 18-45 is Stm kit lens.
    thank you for all the work you put on your content to help us

    • @FulaanCreative
      @FulaanCreative  10 місяців тому +2

      I would imagine you can't push the colors the way you can with those 14 bit raw files but If you need AF you need AF. The R50 has HDR PQ which is 10bit which is enough for a decent bit of grading. Ideally you would want C-log but then you are getting into a higher price bracket.

      So those you mentioned are recorders not mics. You need a mic to pair with those. Sound is a complicated subject because each scenario is different and will require different tools. Regardless of what you go with the main rule is the closer you can get the mic to the sound source the better. 1 foot would be ideal for most mics

    • @FulaanCreative
      @FulaanCreative  6 місяців тому +2

      Some people recommend pencil condenser mics indoors over shotguns. They may in fact get less room reverb etc but they are quite expensive and also are mostly xlr so it'l require a whole setup which is too much trouble for me. If you learn how to sweep frequencies in your EQ you can reduce room reverb alot. If it's still too much you can hang some blankets to dampen the sound. For the wire length I bought a 10m 3.5mm extension from amazon a few years ago. Works great

    The sound quality is not the same as rode shotgun. Rode shotgun is expensive and better choice

    Plan 17 : Buy shotgun mic
    I gut a Question sir, i have a vlogging channel it's small but i use the Sony ZV-E10 (you recommend one of your videos) and i love it not gonna lie, but it only records 30fps on 4k, gets hot sometimes (in hot environment) and coloring with it is harder than sony zv-1
    So many websites said Sony ZV-E10 (which i have) and other cameras that many people don't recommend
    What are the best Vlogging cameras under $2600? In your opinion??? (((YOUR OPINION IS IMPORTANT DON'T SED ME LINK TO WEBSITES)))
    🙃please
