Chicken soup after swimming was the best.

I learned to swim in that pool when I was at Linvail primarily school. I remember looking at those old slipper baths. Also remember walking home and buying a popadom for me and my pal as we walked home. Ah the days

This happened up and down the Clyde. Old baths demolished for some office space/event center. Those building are history; how about saving one as a working museum so can enjoy using one. I feel the same about all the lost ship yards and docks. You can save them all, but save something! Children these days don't learn about the greatness, the history, the fortitude of their predecessors. no! They learn about so social evil crap. While some of that is perfectly true, how about showing the good with the bad? Have the learn about history and let them not repeat mistakes. Don't throw out the baby with the dirty bath water FFS.

Cultural vandalism is the correct description. Shame on the people who made the decision to destroy the baths.

Unfortunately it's happened! There's just an open space now.....

Criminal. The destruction of the baths was totally unwarranted, should have been refurbished not destroyed.
