I've been flipping for around 6 months too, I actually managed to learn all these 3 but god I just don't know why tf can't I do rollovers. My hands just completely stops working for these tricks while others are just fine so many of the times, I have to improvise tricks with rollovers to other stuffs like instead of thumb rollover after the choker fan, I opt for an aerial. Balisong flipping is just weird, I swear
@@nvducei lol...all kind of rollovers are very easy for me. I guess we both had a different focus while learning. Aerials took me ages, too...but since a month I'm able to do them pretty proper
I've been flipping for 3 years. Scissoring is a trick I have yet to be able to conquer. Backhand fanning isn't hard for me, so as much as it hurts my wrist to do it so I never use it in my flipping combos.
no butterfly knife trick has ever pissed me off as much as learning the goddam backhand fan, and cheat fan. i’ve never wanted to scream and break something more
I was able to do the fan just fine for the most part, except it kept getting snagged randomly. The tip about rotating it before it hits your hand solved it perfectly, thank you!
wow the timing, i was about to search up "how to backhand fan" then i saw this video on the home page of youtube thank you dude, ill be trying to learn this trick ! you taught very well in this one .
Bali Bug the joker. it is an advanced move that can be found of r/Balisong's list. it is made up of a 0G Y3K, then the spy. pretty cool looking move, but I can't get it down.
That's so awesome you left this message for me xD I've been keeping a close eye for months.. have all my info ready to go and an alarm set. No way I'm missing it!!
I forget. Its easier to learn to practice a fan upside down to get an idea. But I start off with the basic opening that everyone knows (or a fan) to gain momentum then I just use my middle finger and thumb to roll it as it falls. You also need to pull it up a little bit and similar to a Chaplin. No idea if this helps but there haha
Omg those fluent flipps
I'm flipping for a half year now. Things I guess I will NEVER get -.-
- Backhand Fanning
- Scissor
- Murnax Ladder

Could you do one on the joker? The 0g y3k is hard enough, but that extra spy is killing me.
CR45 H sorry.. but what?

why the hell can't i get this trick down 😭
I tried so hard and I still can't do it! I know the steps but I get trapped in the part where you use all the momentum 😭😭😭😭
Am I having such a hard time with this because I have a BM model 62? I feel like most of the good fanning is done with lighter knives like a bm 51.
The combination of the shortness and the weight of the 62 does make it hard to flip with
Thanks for the input. I've been waiting over 4 months for the BRS AB to come back :(
That's so awesome you left this message for me xD I've been keeping a close eye for months.. have all my info ready to go and an alarm set. No way I'm missing it!!
I managed to get an AB premium normal blade with yesterdays drop :) had to get it in green, though.
It was considerate, so thank you :) I'm the same as well. added

Hello there, I want to get into flipping but I don't know with what balisong start and where to buy it. Please can I get some help. Thanks
lockpaaa go to bladeHQ. if you are on a budget, pick up a BBBarfly. if not, look at a barebones or a Benchmade 51.
my guy if u got a good budget get a squid trainer
