You could say that, but there are plenty of pitfalls on that road too that leads to all forms of delusional and disconnected thinking and perspectives in your daily life. Have heard it discussed many many times by different teachers, students/ former students and critics. It takes a real dedicated master to master it 😁, to see through all the inner layers of deception from ego, patterns, upbringing. They will all try to take you off your course.

I don't even know how I got to this podcast. I have been stuck inside my own head. I am tired of my mind set. I've repeatedly and constantly have the same thoughts since I was a child. I think of death alot. But only because I'm unfilled with in my own spirit. I've never wanted a religion but a connection to the universe. I can not see myself and I don't remember what I looked like or moments. When I close my eyes to see myself as a child there's darkness. No one believes when I say I can't remember. I've isolated myself from people I grew up with or my ex's because I hate for people to ask me do you remember? I'm locked inside my own mind on repeat cycle of painful memories. Don't remember Christmas or birthday. I do remember being molested and raped as a child. Growing up there was always a grown man touching me inappropriately. My mother's boyfriends, my dad friend, step brother. Domestic and family violence. Being beaten and starved by step mom. At 15 I was with a 27 yr guy. Mother was on drugs dad was military. I can not concentrate to read and remember. There's a blockage

@@72dee I know it can be painful, but why don't you start writing about this, it ça help a lot of people in the same situation. It could be a novel about your life, fragments and how you overcame, you did it, you are still here looking for something, wanting to thrive, like everybody else, and your voice can be the remedy for you and others. I wish you the best!

Organized religion has been the cause of this disempowerment. The premise of being fundamentally flawed, and enslaved by our human nature, began there. Over the centuries, this perspective has divided, condemned, and ruined way more lives than it’s ever “saved.” This is an aspect that must be addressed if one is to have a valid, fearless conversation on freedom. It may be implied in this dialogue, but most interviews (and authors) skirt the issue, because the wrath of those who profess to love others can be a powerful consequence of opening that confining “can of worms.”
“The beauty of being human is to learn to embrace your humanity.” I love this! However, what happens when you’ve been conditioned to believe to fear your humanity to the point that it’s not embraceable…except, perhaps, in some dark…and scary…part of your mind…because to speak these words aloud means instantaneous attack? Not only from others of your tribe or clan, but also from yourself? Who labels another person a “Humanist” as if that’s a bad thing, except for those who fear their own humanity? Gnothi Seauton. Having awakened to this reality, I see this as the fundamental obstacle to knowing thyself.
    These are my conclusions…
Just because the vast majority of the world believes something to be true doesn’t make it true.
Truth is regardless of my perception of it. Or yours.
When will we, as thought leaders, begin the free dive?

I AM DYING OF EMOTIONAL PAIN.
THE GRIEF AND TERROR ARE ALL-CONSUMING.
I desperately want to escape the pain that I'm in:
    debilitating paralyzing all-consuming hyperventilating
    panic and grief...
the guy I called my best friend,
    ended up raping me.
he violently brutally viciously maliciously raped my soul.
    abandoned and betrayed me.
    and now I don't breathe.
last year he ruined christmas-time for me,
and now he's ruined my winter and spring.
    I'm dying inside.
    desperately trying to remember this:
✨💖✨ I was created from all light,
for I am light, I fear no darkness.
for being light I can see beyond darkness 💫

Just love your work Peter! I have only recently had you cross my path on my UA-cam feed…. I listened to my first podcast with you … & I was hooked… maybe addicted lol 😂… What hit me the most was the deep connection to how you speak & articulate your journey…. As it resonates very deeply within me on my own personal journey of unlearning everything I thought I was.
So much of my answers have Come in a spiritual manner of lighting bolt strikes (on the back of my head) as well as a few four by 2’s as well…
Life is our greatest teacher & gratitude with grace for all it has given me is my greatest strength as I would not be where I am in myself if it wasn’t for the process life took me on & the inherent trust I placed in the journey.
You have connected a few things with me as I listened to others unpack their stuff… but I know daily that I have still so much to learn.
The greatest gift we can give to ourselves is to know thy self deeply… what I have found is the deeper we know ourselves, the deeper we understand others…. Which leads to a deep compassion… like you I just love people & want them to feel the beauty of inner peace that comes with knowing no matter what, you will always be ok, regardless of the circumstances. The trust is beautiful & best bit is I know I am my own best friend.
So grateful that even though I do not personally know you… I share this space with you…. As I feel a connection that is beautiful. Bless you & your continued journey helping many. 💜

Best interview with Peter I’ve heard thus far. If there’s one thing that didn’t resonate with me, it’s the interviewer’s question posited that “Peter works with successful people as well as ordinary people”. With all due respect, that’s the meat of the whole conversation: we are all equal and not separate. The belief in the different degrees that Andre points out, is the cause of suffering. It’s all make believe !!!

Our inherent value is all equal, but if you don’t strive towards over the ideal and you settle for mediocrity, then you are going to be labelled as ordinary. If you have an immense level of self belief and consistently take action towards your dreams that is going to separate you from “ordinary people“

Maybe, just maybe, that's your call to have a deeper look at why that, of all things, 'triggered you' in a way. It could maybe, just maybe, show you, where you are not as free as you could be?
Much love to you! ❤ I recently discovered, that I myself still get triggered by perceived Injustice/unfairnesses. I'm still working on that, because it needlessly takes power away from me, that I could spent on much more rewarding things. The goal is to be able to say: "It is, what it is. And it just serves a purpose, that I do not seem to understand. Yet." 🤗🙏😇

@@ThinkingDoesntHurt I read my comment from 2 years ago and smile at my ascension since then. Indeed this is a temporary dimension and mindset keeps us tethered to the earth narrative. It is what it is!!! Now when I get “triggered” I use it as a tool to alchemize the mindset that must be keeping me in a limited perspective. Higher and higher. I’m on my way up and out. Thanks for the comment ! I love it

Our subconscious beliefs are created during our childhood. We assume certain truths about ourselves and our reality which we could not understand at the time. The most important part of discovery of subconscious beliefs is going back to the childhood and understanding those situations. The mind will present the exact memory we need to look at. That’s where the freedom comes from.

Personally i have never like the idea of relying on external help ie: professionals. I caved in several times. It was worth the experience, however professionals are only based on their study rarely enough on their experience. We are conditioned to believe on credentials. Peter is so true that all knowledge are based on someone else's work ie: Carl Yung's work is based on his combined experiences and his influencers (someone made shit up)..lol.. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, great podcast...My wish is that we are already in the 5th dimension. I know its a gradual transitional of the elimination of SHIT, and all messages what we are being told which all are tall tales and allegories. I wonder what is the difference between fiction vs non-fiction?. Things that makes you go EMMM!!!!..

I'm always curious when these presenters give a bad wrap about talking therapy.. I am a practitioner and we have to be aware that we are a human being with human experiences and the story. However when you hear the story you start to unravel that.. And go deeper into who you really am. Awareness and integration. Talking therapy has its place like everything. Like many modalities. Judge not I say its all divine😮

The absence of love is abuse, I like that statement. I was out walking with my dogs this morning. Just wondering why Humans have so much trouble with unconditional love. Where as, dogs do seem to easily achieve it. Thoughts, beliefs and perceptions, based on experiences of the past maybe? Peace ✌️

Finally! I have really fallen in love with listening to podcasts however whenever I find a topic of interest and someone who truly inspires me, I listen to podcasts they've been invited to only to find out that the host asks the same questions and therefore I hear the same answers over time. This is incredibly frustrating when you become fascinated by a topic. I can't tell you how grateful I am that this truly wonderful host that is Andre asks completely different questions which go so much deeper and reveal so much more wisdom! HURRAY! Thank you, THANK YOU, THAAAANK YOOOUUUU! I await more episodes with baited breath! I think that because we're all at different stages of awareness of life, there definitely needs to be more diversity when it comes to podcasts. If I'd listened to this 2 years ago, I probably would have thought it was gobodigook because I simply wouldn't have been ready to receive this information. So happy that this content has found me and that have found you at this time in my life!

Interesting conversation. When it comes to babies, I am of the mind that they experience pain, but absolutely do not suffer. The dividing learn where pain turns into suffering occurs when one identifies with their pain, internalizing the discomfort and making it "my pain" that turns it into suffering.
This actually is an incredibly interesting thing to think about, though, as even in the case of a house pet, studies have found giving the animal a name significantly increases the chance that it will Eventually become capable of passing the mirror test, Or some other similar test of self awareness, and thus, be what we would consider self aware, and even have the capacity for suffering.
The biggest thing language actually did to humans comema though, isn't just how it changed the way we sync and interact with one another, but it made huge, sweeping changes to the actual topology of our brains

Living with the ego in charge is equal to living in prison. Any negativity/struggle I experience I am aware that the ego is at the wheel. Ego loves to create problems and then demands control to fix them, which it never does or will. Every time I catch it and bring myself back to presence (reality) the ego dies. It is a slow death and the ego is sneaky and will try anything to regain control, but with consistency I eventually live fully from my true beingness. Living with the ego is charge is like living with a bully narcissist or a perpetual victim. No thanks. Living as the true-self is like living with a loving and compassionate spirit. Yes, please.

Peter speaks eloquently, and obviously verbal language is his primary thinking operating system, as it is for most people, probably. But we also think and communicate with ourselves and others through images, sensations, emotions, energy, and non-verbal sounds. We can remember, imagine, think, and experience without words.
