Since Aubrey was bullying Basil all the time because of the photo album, she would be feeling guilty after Basil dies. Kel after finding out that both his friends died, I think he would lose his smile and become depressed like Hero was after Mari. Hero would be feeling extremely guilty, because he promised Mari that he will look over everyone. So that's basically it. (Damn, that's actually a good AU idea, maybe if everyone died from depression as a chain reaction)

4th rewatch and I just noticed Sunny's concern at 44:35 during his mental battle, his shock at 45:15 seeing himself win in favor of telling the truth, followed by more concern seeing himself going to tell the truth at 45:45, more shock at seeing himself forgive himself at 46:40 (The only one not smiling, just absentmindedly staring) and the "I´m sorry..." at 47:30, meaning that, had it not been for the reaction, Sunny would've Oyasumi'd himself (I MIGHT be overthinking this, I'm blaming it on the fever if I am.) Edit: nvm I just rewatched the ending, Sunny's last dialogue is about killing himself and everybody else is just accepting that this is what'll happen. So yeah, nothing changed.
