Nathaniel is one of the only guitarists I’ve heard who can consistently play the vocal melody line without making it sound forced or cringey. I always enjoy these demos.
This is how all demonstrations should be done, in my opinion. Clear, concise explanations about the products, and a variety of songs and solo playing. Very well done. Great job to the guys at CME. Always a great collection of gear, knowledgeable people always right there to help and great demonstrations. Thank you + Rock on......Jase
It's "Back, not Bach"😂. As for the 480X, some people are confused if those are humbuckers or not. I have HB1s in my 320, trust when I say, the 480X does not have them. It's a more rounded, boosted tone, but retain their clarity. It seems Ric tipped their hat to the hot toasters that were equipped in the 90s 325v63. I had a '96 325v63. Those pups are sick once you get used to them and dial them in.
You are correct in that the Hot Toaster are single coil. In person one can see and feel the single row of six pole pieces right down the center of the pickups. For those out there who are still unsure about the standard Toasters... they are single coil as well. Some people get confused about that due to the dual slotted (toaster looking) covers on them.
I don't get why Rickenbacker has a 1.63 nut. Would love to own one but they're just not made for man hands. Not to mention they might sell more guitars with wider nut.
People don’t usually say anything about the 6 strings being narrow, but if you want it, the 660/6, 660/12, and 1993 Plus/12 have 1.75” nuts. So do the older 650 models.

Iconic guys. Old REM was phenomenal.
Thanks for watching!
@A900 I agree. I was walking down the street listening with my earbuds and I started singing along full bore. Very nice cover.

Much appreciated! Thanks for watching!! 🤘🤘
I think Rickenbacker 4003 is the most beautiful Bass model of the history
Iconic!
@@chicagomusicexchange not agree the 4001 early 70 s is the most beautyful and iconic.
I just saw the 480XC in a local store and it blew my mind. Super exceptional guitar. Beautiful.
24 fret Ric bass isn't something you see everyday. I like it!
Those are beautiful instruments
Earlier in my life, I owned a '74 Rick 481. If not for a wiring problem I couldn't figure out, I'd still have it. Great Guitar!
I have a '76. Creamy sounds, smooths out any amount of gain, but never over-overdrives preamp.
Very nicely done gents
My favourite ricky bass player was cliff burton even though he was more of an aria pro 2 bass player
It’s nice to have a mic around, simply for a mic drop, even without song vocals.
The 480xc is cool as, but .... is it the best part of 6k cool ? It’s a no from me . It’s 2.5k cool at a push .
Nice R.E.M. jam!
Thanks!
Love those Ricks!
They are very cool!
I LIKE THIS
Thank you!
That Roundabout cover is outstanding!
To be continued
Great vid, great playing, and beautiful guitars. Do I need to wear a mask to watch the video?🤔
Thanks! Should be fine if you sit 6 feet from the screen lol

What is the model of the black Rickenbacker?
I can’t tell exactly but it’s either 360/12C63 or 360/12V64 in jetglo. I’m guessing a C63
Bill Wyman was not known as a Ric player.
Yes always Framus bass in the early days.
Framus Star bass--Bill always played short-scales. Sometimes, he used a Fender Mustang bass

I want both, Would you accept a kidney as payment?. ✌🏻🇬🇧
That would be two kidneys.

That bass looks like it rolled right out of the '60's, pass on the guitar though.
excuse me but WHY THE FUCK DOES THE DRUMMER HAVE HIS MASK UNDER HIS NOSE
Why the fuck does he even have one on? They are useless.
no
Calm down Karen.
BECAUSE HE KNEW MASKS DONT DO JACK CRAP!
