Two thoughts come to mind - 1. This doesn't look like any cup I own or have ever seen & 2. What is the justification for water appearing from a three ball/paper/playdough routine.

The paper ball routine is an effect within itself and is to show emptiness of the cup indirectly/subconsciously. And the cup justifies liquid being in it, does it not? Its called a kicker ending. In other words, what justifies lemons and potatoes being under the metal cups in the cups and balls? Nothing justifies it. It is impossible and thus it justifies itself. A and B dont always lead to C. If it did, it wouldnt be a mystery.

There are *hundreds* of cup designs on the market . Just because this one doesn't look like one you have ever seen doesn't make it look suspicious in the audience mind. Handle it like it's just a cup, don't draw attention to it , it's just a cup , right ? What's the problem ?
