I prefer online. I hate crowds and going out. I like to stay in the comfort of my own home. So many brick and mortar stores don't have my size and specialty items I want. Amazon has me covered every time. I learned something new: the concept store. I do like that. I have to say some of the stores are like mini museums of their own right. The bags are stunning. Being an abstract artist I'm always looking at shapes and colors.
Online shipping prices are sometimes super expensive unless you buy a certain amount of items. Sometimes going to a brick and mortar store is more convienuent than online shopping unless you are OK to wait for your items.
I'm very loyal Uniqlo. Their Oxford Button Down Shirts are affordable and high quality. $20 for something so stylish that can last a long time is value for money. Sometimes they put it on sale and it's only $15 for a limited time. ♥️
Hi alux, Thanks for this wonderful video. But i feel some important points you missed. In case you want to make pqrt 2 of this one, here are few more things. 1. Sales staff is forced to stand throughout there 8 hours of working and they can't even lean on something for comfort. And sometimes they can punished for the same. 2. People who work there are often suffer from knee pain, spondylitis, backpain and other health issues. 3. In hyper stores like big bazar and Spencer's staffs salary is just above minimum wages. In some cases a beggers earning is more than a supervisor in the retail store. 4. Customer is always right this quote makes many people get fired even if the customer is wrong and employee is right. 5. Employees are forced to maximise profits not to recommend right products. In many cases cases customers endup buying useless things. I hope this will add value to your content. Also consider this as thank you in return of your extremely valuable content.
Thank you for the update, the Retail Industry is very seasonal clothes, out doors items. View the store sale flyer, online ads first. must of the time the store may not have ,I like to when the store clerks say how are you doing today? Pop-ups stores are Short stay, never how the customers are going to purchase.
Retail industry becomes more profitable as many business transforms to e-commerce. Every business that wants to go global through e-commerce faces a challenge of finding excellent partners to manage warehousing, fulfillment and distributions to end consumers. In FULFILLMEN, we keep on upscaling warehousing technology to ensure there would be no room for any mistake and to secure that all of the logistics remain protected and unblemished. If you are looking for an excellent partner to handle your warehousing, fulfillment and logistics management, Fulfillmen can greatly assist you.
Just out of curiosity, do you mind explaining the logic behind the change in your introductory statement from "..... come to get INSPIRED." to "... get INFORMED." ?
Is anybody else MOREOVER to death on this video? Just can't avoid but notice, nonetheless thanks Alux, awesome information well not necessarily this video but other materials!!! Thank you:)
Hi. It depends, technically complex stuff is best online, there's no stock problem (not much). For simpler things or things you need to feel, it's actual shopping. God bless, Proverbs 31
I prefer online shopping to avoid crowds, rushes, save time, and to stick to budget. For some stores, like Best Buy and Walmart, I feel unexplainable anger and anxiety when I'm inside them, maybe it's the lighting or the fact they never seem to have the one stupid thing I'm there for in stock or easy to find - I have no idea, but I avoid them like the plague or bring ibuprofen for the inevitable headache. I love the grocery markets that deliver or allow store pickup. I prefer to only go to physical stores if I need to try something, like a laptop or tall girl jeans, to make sure it's a good fit, and then it's "strike with precision and get out". Otherwise ONLINE for sure.
I am wearing white; White v neck-polo Boxers-polo Sox- Timberlands no-show Shoes-top sperry Shorts nautica Hat- Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse Watch-KINETIC
I prefer online shopping because people don't judge me in online shopping .. also I online provide me variety of products at a time without any Hustle...
Unique video Alux. Quite useful and relevant with day to day life. And its depends on the product we are buying, if the product is aesthetically demanding we need to visit the stores to check the quality of the product.👍
Also something you may find really interesting is those like particularly (as we'd call them here supermarkets the biggest was or is being Tesco's here their like the Microsoft or Apple of the supermarket/retail industry essentially like Walmart before all the other ones started following suit after a while like J Sainsbury was one of the first to move into the direction of Tesco's infact ASDA is actually ASDA Walmart they merged anyway lol the kind of tills they use are called EPOS's (Electronic Point of Sales Terminals and they're a whole lot more than just a till though they do have those obviously as a component but they plug into soo many different systems. The amount of data they hold about customers from those is incredible like I know Tesco's have an Oracle (one of the very few companies in the country that has their own Oracle RBMS development licence without going through a 3rd party) plus they use GFK's data as well and plug into that.
It's like obviously (to those who know about this kind of thing) if you see some ASDA customers I dare say the majority of them won't want to buy a huge pack of say really expensive coffee, so they'll maybe sell smaller ones because they may be able to sell them better, than if you go to say Sainsbury's and go there they'll have the bigger packs of the same brand, because the latter's customer base tends to be really affluent, though to be fair to ASDA some of their foods are actually tons better IMHO lol (especially their home brand stuff lol). Have worked on a few major pieces of work integrating solutions with GFK and a subsidiary namely Etilize (for one online shop).
With today's online hackers i prefer shopping in stores unless i use a gift card for online shopping. I also try to use cash so i can minimize using debit cards and my information getting hacked. Somehow even if i reset my passwords more often my information aren't secured anymore online.
What about this new type of store I call it store 2.0 you have a store there is an app people choose the products that will be in the store on the app, there is a catalog with thousands of products, now, people have to choose the products they want from the catalog. then, the products that were chosen will be found in the store the store is constantly being supplied with the products people chose then, of course, the app will say if the products are here or not yet, and the app will say where to find the products in the store for example, product shampoo is at column B, row 7
I prefer both online and the in-store experience but so online because it's less connection with store clerks and the annoying walking with me asking if I need help in some stores
Shopping online is way more convenient and also makes it easier to see all the prices available on the items we buy. Personally I shop almost exclusively on mobile usually on Amazon’s App. Where good prices meets ease of access, money follows.
A very interesting episode. It's true that in recent years online shopping has boomed but people will switch back to brick and mortar store where focus will be on socializing and enhancing customer experience rather than simply selling products in a dumb way. Thanks Alux!
I like shopping at a traditional brick-and-mortar store most of the time. If I can not be able to find what I want in my area, I could just go online, pay for that item, wait for it to arrive days/weeks/months in advance...
Yes we like to shop online to save time and may be mainly for popular goods but on the other hand if we want to get some new experience about some products , we often use to visit at store.
Online! Brick and mortar stores are going to become a thing of the past at some point. My business was only in high end department stores but pulled out bc they were ahead of the game and saw the trend of many things going online only! Love the company I work for❤️
@@shasankatimsina676 it's still worth studying. because you can't deny the fact that pornography is still an industry with lots of consumers. you should also put in the fact that it has an impact to society that could arguably be positive or negative. it also has issues that are worth covering such as human trafficking, exploitation, the risks that porn stars have to face, etc.
The amazing thing about store shopping is I may feel a little guilty about trying on so many clothes that look great on the rack but as soon as I see them on me in a mirror I have no qualms about putting that garment back on the rack and that in turn keeps me in budget. Think of the wasted time and money with online ordering and heaven forbid returns. I bet half those purchases wind up at the consignment shops.
I still need a good retail store to try on my clothes before purchasing Because the Internet does not assure me that a shirt nor a pair of pants are going to fit me the way I like it😤😤
I am loyal to products and stores when I can afford to be. I enjoy luxury stores and good customer service. I think brick and mortar stores will be around forever because there are advantages to them over online shopping. Many people like to shop so for them it is an event. Also, I need to see the merchandise, touch the merchandise and as questions about it. I have a lot of self control when it comes to shopping and I only buy what I need.

Shop in the local supermarket for fresh food etc but have bought everything else online since 2007.
In store experience/store clerks with friendly attitudes rare but the best.

Plus its kills free time.

I find social media confusing and difficult. Stores are not loyal to customers anymore.

Happy 4th Alux!
Oh wow! I used to buy all of my clothes at Abercrombie and Fitch in college.
Alux.com from where are you dude? I love💝 your all videos
Retail will have a resurgence, because shopping is so important. Ordering online reduces public time. Markets are fantastic places.
Hmmm, that bonus #16 is very intriguing .............
Can Alux do a video on 15 people richer than those on the forbes list?
Is anybody else MOREOVER to death on this video? Just can't avoid but notice, nonetheless thanks Alux, awesome information well not necessarily this video but other materials!!! Thank you:)
So I have a question @Alux : are Aluxers less likely to help those in need then ?
Thank you for your constant work and insight.
