So incredibly imaginative. I looked forward to every Saturday evening to hear about episodes of Guy Noir, encounters at the SideTrack Tap, and the anecdotes of Norwegian Batchelor farmers. Garrison, however is still on tour though. Looking forward to taking in one of his shows.
Sooo glad to find ANY and ALL Prarie Home Companion kept alive on UA-cam❣ 🎙😄😆😅🤣😂🎶🪕🎻📻👍🤗💗 Great radio show, nothing else compares. Thanks you for sharing this❣
My father and I used to listen to this every Saturday while we ate dinner. I used to record it but don't know what happened to those cassettes. I may have accidentally thrown them away being that it's hard to find a player for them these days.
I’ve just discovered the Peter Gunn series on FreeVee. I see so much of Detective Gunn in Mr. Noir, in a caricature of sorts. It was my favourite part of PHC, and I continue to think of Guy whenever I watch my favourite detective shows. Missing PHC so much ❤
This shouldn’t be under the moniker ‘live from here’. This was produced before live from here existed and live from here is a mere spec in the cosmic universe compared to what a prairie home companion was.
@@johnolberts8020 do you suggest because someone is attractive they must pursue a career taking advantage of their appearances otherwise they are wasting their potential? I would argue that just because someone is attractive does not mean they would provide most value only by their attractiveness or else they are wasting their gift of attractiveness. They have many other potentials that they may like to fulfill that do not involve their physical attributes and that may be much more profound in its contribution the the world. Standing around looking pretty is very unengaging and on its own or even as a professionals, does not lead to a fulfilled life. Some people want to be valued and provide for something other than their appearances.
I’m so grateful for the person or people who keep these programs going for us, they are fabulous and so important to me!

Still love them ... Garrison and all the cast of PHC. It was by far the best thing ever on Public Radio.
Correction - It was by far the best thing on radio.
So sorely missed is Garrison Keiler on the radio every weekend.
Brilliance & charm. Fun to watch. Magical to listen to.
Pure genius, miss it.
I miss Mr. Keillor so much .
I wish he would voice the Bible for audiobook .
A waste of time. He obviously has better things to do.
@@nedludd7622 No he does’t .
@@CAStone-kq4md The Bible is a waste of time for everyone, except that reading it is a good way to make thinking people atheists.

She had a figure that would make a bishop, kick a stain glass window....Raymond Chandler...
She wasted herself at radio when she had beautiful physical features like fingernails and smile.
