Sounds like a pre hard rant and bashing on the GTR I know a lot of people who own the GT Pro and GTR and love both, but I heard the GT pro has a lot of throttle issues throttling when it shouldn’t, theirs always some issues in scooters, doesn’t come with the nice hybrids you’ll have to pick between either off-road or street tires on the pro, as I’m watching listening to ur front wheel spinning and sputtering before it gets going, the traction control feature on the GTR is absolutely incredible. Also saying “it’s 20 pounds more” is really irrelevant when both are massive and huge and hard to take anywheres, but as you mentioned the GTR’s battery is removable which makes transportation a little easier, to me for the small lack of battery I’d feel best going with the GTR 👍🏼 the upgrades are just so worth it. Honestly it sounds like you don’t like the wolf line as a whole which begs the question why you’re even reviewing it? 😂 their great scooters and I’d like to see you find something hybrid that’s better on the market today.
@@hank01000 couple things to unpack here Yes the gt pro does have throttle issues IE voltage surges specifically when it’s turned on, not moved before putting into dual motor, and then taking off. (Also noticeable randomly whilst riding for sure) You can get used to it and it becomes not a big deal (not the ideal solution for most) As for my front tire spinning very hard, in this specific video I had beat nylon TUOVT tires on the scooter and it’s much much better managing that with PMTs. Regarding traction control on the GTR, It reduces acceleration to do so HEAVILY. Not preferred by somebody like myself to be honest. To each their own and both scooters are very different price points. I just feel the GTR is an in between scooter. Wait for kaabos next actual 84v scoot before jumping for the GTR, if you don’t have either and are over 170lbs and cannot find a GT pro for less than 2500 then I guess go with a GTR. Kaabo screwed up by not redesigning the rear end of the GTR to accommodate the hydraulic shock without making it ridiculously tall. Sure the longer travel in the front is nice, but almost nobody needs 10.5 inches of ground clearance on their scooter, it just makes the center of gravity higher so you can’t corner as well while street riding.
The headlights on Wolf king GT. Have spotlight and flood lights. Because you have your headlights set so high. You're completely blinding oncoming traffic. A lot of people could care less. I'm one of the people that actually adjust my headlights for traffic. Can see me plenty well but I can still see the roadway easy. Just letting you know in case you did not know about the style of headlight.

I had both and I can say the gtr is so much better overall when it come to comfort and speed , its not even close the only downside is that it cost 700$ more than the Gt other than that if you have the money, dont even ask yourself between the two , my buddy have a gt pro and since he have try my Gtr he's trying to sell his gt for the gtr so it is what it is .
I personally know enough people at this point with massive controller and motor issues regarding their GTR. I would pass on it. I’ve 4000 miles on the gt pro still love it. May get an e move Roadster soon not sure. Thanks for watching man!! Ride safe

I drove one and it’s way crazier than the the gt pro that I have. But it’s so high off the ground and they didn’t raise the handlebars so they are way too short now
I don’t think it’s crazier, I think the battery was full bro haha! They pickup literally about the same if you’re not burning rubber with your wkgtp. Takes throttle control with 50a in the front off the line. I disagree it’s way stronger than your wkgt. If anything the display might show it’s going better but it’s not even calibrated correctly to the 12” tires. I DO NOT think this scooter is faster than the wkgtp to 50 if you know how to ride it. That traction control just limits you truly. I’d put the whole scooter on it lol. And with all the problems (as I predicted in this video) with the controller, I’m good. And we’re moving on to 84v 70a systems now. The gtr wasn’t an upgrade, all they did was fix the amp jolting in the controller. That’s it. And then it burns out. Haha. Not worth it, not an upgrade, it’s the new version of the wkgtp. That’s all. It’s mediocre at best improvement wise, and yeah it’s slower from the line. Assuming you’re not burning your tires out with your wkgtp.
I wouldn't say either one is entirely "better" than the other. The GTR and the GT Pro have there own trade offs. If there was a Kaabo with all the bells and whistles of the GTR but with the same LG or Samsung Non Removable Battery as the GT Pro then that would be golden. If the GT and GTR had a baby it would be amazing
Removable Battery .(good and bad) Higher ground clearance (good and bad) . New controllers. Hybrid rubber tires. Locking alarm system. Memory function that remember last ride mode settings. Walk mode. ESP (electronic slid/skid protection) Better and adjustable rear suspension. Adjustable front suspension with 1 extra inch of fork travel. Better turn signals and brake lighting (now entire side of the GTR lights up in sync with the brake lights and turn signals) 🚀 S mode for extra output (completely unsafe and a total gimmick which I hate turbo and boost modes on scooters) Rear tire fender extension to stop all debris and water effectively. (Optional part/accessory) NFC key lock & start (Optional part/accessory) Locking mechanism for removable Battery (a bit flimsy but seems to work fine) Handle bar hook to lock when folded These are all of the changes I can think of for this scooter
None of those matter when it’s 700$ more and has a smaller battery; and the same top speed essentially (within 3%) Can just stop right there. This isn’t the 3 year upgrade I’ve been waiting for lol.

@@Hermes8A8A the deck to bar height is actually shorter on the gtr than the wkgt, so I think you’ll be just fine!! You can also lower the bars on for forks slightly.

Surrons and Talarias. They're cool and all, but the unless you're off-roading, they're just wheelie machines on the road. Only the Wolf King GT (and now the GTR) have the acceleration and top speed to keep with the flow of traffic.
But you have to think though, the GTR's mid range acceleration is way quicker then the GT, but you like the range and the two separate controllers, then the it's the GT
Who says it’s mid range has better acceleration…? Literally it’s worse because it is heavier in every situation- BESIDES when your in the small window of S mode. All traction control does is give the front wheel LESS throttle than your really giving it to prevent spin outs, if this is even what you mean by better mid range acceleration… I would argue if your spinning your tire constantly on your wkgt then your not experienced enough to understand how to utilize it’s unique throttle curve to only use enough to provide traction (in a maximum acceleration-mid-range-scenario) But yeah; the controller gives 5 more amps to each motor in Sport mode or S mode, and it shuts off traction control. This scooter will not be any different in the mid range…. Flooring the throttle in gear 5 from 0 will limit your front and rear wheel speeds throttle due to traction control therefore doing what you should be doing on the wkgt- easing into the throttle on take off to only get traction not spin out. Hope that’s all making sense. That’s my experience on it anyway. I’m in full belief I can beat somebody my weight in a 20 mile race with them on a gtr, due to shear understanding of the machine. But to each their own. All of this said, let’s say you are right and it has better mid range (again not sure what that means), Is that worth 700$? I would legitimately rather have a wkgt and parts for over a year. And it isn’t I couldn’t afford it. It’s that the GTR isn’t a big upgrade over the wkgt. Possibly if your looking for your FIRST 3500-4500$ scooter you would consider the GTR, but then if saving 700$ means anything to you, you aren’t going wrong at all and I’d argue getting the best deal on the market buying the wkgt for 3200-3300 Ride safe my brotha love the comment. Oh just from recent reviews of the GTR with dragy it gets a better 0-30mph time and 72 mph top speed, but all that could literally be human error where you could get the same time with the GT, rider weight, and easing the throttle etc.. I'm coming from a 60v e scooter (Dragon Lightning V2) it's pretty wicked but after something faster. @@bslothed3211 I’ve seen 72 on the display 65 actual gps. Look for for my video getting the wkgt to 65 (albeit down a hill) but it will be cross referenced with 2 different gps’ and also my wkgt display has the wheel size settings perfect to be accurate within .2mph or so of gps. 5 extra amps on the same motors with a 72v battery isn’t going to get you an extra 10mph top speed, it will get you like 3 though in good conditions. I plan to display the wkgt in some of the best conditions as I truly think kaabo could have did better given they had three years to release this GTR. Thanks for liking the videos man really appreciate it. And yeah getting less range for more money- idc how much faster it goes (if it does). I’ve never spent more money on a new scooter that got me less range than the last, and I don’t plan to change that unless I go for a rion, but at the moment I do think kaabo has something big planned. There’s no way this was their 3 year model. I’m thinking 84v. And I would be interested in that, with 12” tires and 60a+ controllers with 2200 or 2500w motors utilizing their new traction control. I can see it being around 4500 but that would be justified at that point. So @bslothed3211, the question is, are you team GT or team GTR :O Haha they are both amazing scooters. After doing lots of research, the GTR really could of had a better battery, if it had a 84v 45ah battery with more range and power, then I would of purchased it. I also originally thought too that the Wolf King GT was better to buy for its price knowing how they operate similarly. 700$ more might not be worth it maybe only 200-300$ more. The GT will preform just as good or very similarly with just being a little slower in acceleration that might not even be noticeable and a little lower top speed which again might not be noticeable. GT is better in how it performs per dollar wise and if they were the same price, some people say the GT is better or might prefer the GT more too. Also as you said in the video, I will be looking forward for that 65 mph you will be doing😀👍. Can you do a full acceleration on gear 5 mode dual motor as well?
if im paying all that money, i may as well pay a bit more so i have more clearence and biger tiers better suspention, traction control and other things. i like more ride hight for offroad. tho the one controller may be an issue if its not good enough
because i can. also dirt bikes are more expencive, cant take them out on the street or anywere around here. i like the idea of going through woods and ive seen people take the gtr on mountain bike trails.. i could say the same think of why would you buy a scooter for 3k when you can get a used motercycle for that much.. i also dont have a drivers lisence so I just want something that can go anywere i need it to, thats why the extra featurs on the gtr are so apealing to me. i like adrenaline and adventure so the extra suspention, ride hight and reaction controll along with the bigger tiers will be great.@@TheRealElectricOutdoors
@@kirill2525it isn’t worth 700$ over this scooter, and when the 500$ controller blows it’ll be an even worse value. Once you’re spending 3 grand on a vehicle (any vehicle) you should be heavily criticizing it. And at this price point every dollar matters. For 3k something electric going over 50mph for over 30 mile distance just makes sense. 4000$ not so much, and the upgrades are very minor. Maybe for your specific case the gtr is better, the cheap air forks they use on the GTR will fail long before the hydraulic fluid forks on the GTP (assuming you put oil in them, I use 5wt) In regards to off-roading because you can, Idk. I just don’t see the appeal at all of riding something standing up like this beating the absolute shit out of its chinesium body, just to go through trails. I just wouldn’t. Maybe that’s just me. I ride dirt bikes as well, and I use a scooter as main transportation just like yourself, I feel you’ve may have already ordered the GTR and are watching videos about it now. If so, let me know how it is at 1000 miles. A lot of that will rely on YOU. I personally don’t think Kaabo should sell the GTR and the gtp side by side, at a 700$ difference. The scooter IS NOT BAD. It is literally a better wkgtp, but when you throw in reliability, and money up front cost, and also available spare parts (have you seen the 12” tubeless options?) The wkgtp is just a better value. @@bslothed3211 I’ve seen 72 on the display 65 actual gps. Look for for my video getting the wkgt to 65 (albeit down a hill) but it will be cross referenced with 2 different gps’ and also my wkgt display has the wheel size settings perfect to be accurate within .2mph or so of gps.
5 extra amps on the same motors with a 72v battery isn’t going to get you an extra 10mph top speed, it will get you like 3 though in good conditions.
I plan to display the wkgt in some of the best conditions as I truly think kaabo could have did better given they had three years to release this GTR.

I’ve never spent more money on a new scooter that got me less range than the last, and I don’t plan to change that unless I go for a rion, but at the moment I do think kaabo has something big planned. There’s no way this was their 3 year model.
I’m thinking 84v. And I would be interested in that, with 12” tires and 60a+ controllers with 2200 or 2500w motors utilizing their new traction control.
I can see it being around 4500 but that would be justified at that point.

Haha they are both amazing scooters. Just like I said if 700$ means anything to you/ the wk is an absolute beast. And no one with a current 72v scooter should do anything but laugh at this from kaabo.

Maybe a Wolf King 12 GT Pro with the 84v battery, more range, insane acceleration, and taller bars..
After doing lots of research, the GTR really could of had a better battery, if it had a 84v 45ah battery with more range and power, then I would of purchased it.
Found a Kaabo Wolf KING GT at my local shop, and guess what, you made me go and buy one sometime today after my grocery shopping 😂😂

I also originally thought too that the Wolf King GT was better to buy for its price knowing how they operate similarly. 700$ more might not be worth it maybe only 200-300$ more. The GT will preform just as good or very similarly with just being a little slower in acceleration that might not even be noticeable and a little lower top speed which again might not be noticeable. GT is better in how it performs per dollar wise and if they were the same price, some people say the GT is better or might prefer the GT more too.
Also as you said in the video, I will be looking forward for that 65 mph you will be doing😀👍. Can you do a full acceleration on gear 5 mode dual motor as well?

if im paying all that money, i may as well pay a bit more so i have more clearence and biger tiers better suspention, traction control and other things. i like more ride hight for offroad. tho the one controller may be an issue if its not good enough

because i can. also dirt bikes are more expencive, cant take them out on the street or anywere around here. i like the idea of going through woods and ive seen people take the gtr on mountain bike trails.. i could say the same think of why would you buy a scooter for 3k when you can get a used motercycle for that much.. i also dont have a drivers lisence so I just want something that can go anywere i need it to, thats why the extra featurs on the gtr are so apealing to me. i like adrenaline and adventure so the extra suspention, ride hight and reaction controll along with the bigger tiers will be great.@@TheRealElectricOutdoors
@@kirill2525it isn’t worth 700$ over this scooter, and when the 500$ controller blows it’ll be an even worse value. Once you’re spending 3 grand on a vehicle (any vehicle) you should be heavily criticizing it. And at this price point every dollar matters. For 3k something electric going over 50mph for over 30 mile distance just makes sense.
4000$ not so much, and the upgrades are very minor.
Maybe for your specific case the gtr is better, the cheap air forks they use on the GTR will fail long before the hydraulic fluid forks on the GTP (assuming you put oil in them, I use 5wt)
In regards to off-roading because you can,

I feel you’ve may have already ordered the GTR and are watching videos about it now. If so, let me know how it is at 1000 miles. A lot of that will rely on YOU.
I personally don’t think Kaabo should sell the GTR and the gtp side by side, at a 700$ difference.
The scooter IS NOT BAD. It is literally a better wkgtp, but when you throw in reliability, and money up front cost, and also available spare parts (have you seen the 12” tubeless options?)
The wkgtp is just a better value. Hope this helps you see my view a bit, both scooters are a blast and will kill you in a second haha.
I just think it isn’t worth the upgrade price.

Not according to the Rider Guide UA-cam channel, formerly known as Electric Scooter Guide (ESG).
They confirmed the actual weight of the WKGTP to be 125 lbs. Ten pounds heavier than advertised. The reported weight of the new GTR is confirmed accurate.

Your scooter is most likely 8000w peak, which is about what dual 2000w motors do, hope this helps :)
It’ll also be heavily dependent on the amps of your controller and also the voltage of your battery
