This is a page straight out of Judy and Barbara's book. Not just in technique but also quality. A LEGEND in the making I'd say. Those effing straight tone resonant belts folding into that insanely balanced and intense vibrato. It sounds like I'm describing a gourmet desert...but that's literally her voice. She’d never do an actual full on analysis because there would be backlash. That being said, Jessie at her VERY best has E5 and constantly C#5/D5 in her mix and still can produce some decent F5s. Above that? That’s where all the Aguilera influence comes in

I would LOVE to see you react to a Von Smith cover. Whichever one, honestly. But I highly recommend "Halo" and "Shallow" and "I Will Always Love You"
+1 AND lets talk about her ninja breathing skills. Just watched the video the full way through and about 1/4 of the way through it I'm like OMG I haven't seen her take a breath. So then I hyperfocused on that and noticed her insanely-quick catch breaths in her chest buried in places of the phrasing I would've never been looking for. And then to see her load up the diaphragm so quickly before singing almost 2 sentences was just crazy. She really does channel some of my very fav aspects of femme powerhouse legends. Oh and I really appreciate that her speak singing at the beginning wasn't overly done/anunciated and was actually even slightly off a little but in a natural, believable heartfelt way.
Oh and then lets talk about your reactions on this video I. LIVE. FOR. THEM. when you would stop, label it, try it, kvetch, rinse and repeat I was in heaven. NO ONE ELSE APPRECIATES VOCALS AS MUCH AS YOU DO!! i mean like, you don't miss a thing and I want more of it!!!
