Thank you SO MUCH for this lesson! I"m a watercolor painter and zoo volunteer, living in Ukraine now, at WAR, need to feed all of them and only my money - it's the orders for paintings.... The last one is a portrait of Yorkshire terrier and it's just WONDER, that you have exactly what I was looking for, course it's not so easy, like another breeds become of their special coat ;) THANK YOU, YOU ARE AMAZING 💓❤️

This is probably the best painting I've seen of a yorkie , I didn't think that water colours could achieve this kind of .accuracy,!, It's so easy to get it muddy looking , when I have a go , and I seem to go back to acrylics which I find an easier medium is this a common question? Having followed your tutorial I will try again at painting our Yorkie which recently died .water colour although I find it's hard to recover mistakes if dark colours are applied to heavily

Just mesmorising! I will be signing up to your website. I love your teaching style and your art is just beautiful. I am working on breaking through my negative blocks to allow myself to be the artist I am meant to be. I have all the stuff. I just need to give myself that PUSH.

How would i go about painting a black and silver schnauzer?? The hair texture is very similar, but painting with black and white essentially scares me 😆

I had two Yorkie's and her impression of the ears is correct.
As an artist, I noticed her sketch before she painted it, and it seems like she utilized tracing paper or a projector, which is absolutely fine! Embracing these tools doesn't diminish one's artistic abilities; in fact, many professionals employ them to save time and achieve outstanding results. Remember, art is subjective and lies in the eyes of the beholder, not solely in the process used. Traced art can be just as captivating as any other form, and it's better to have traced art beautifying walls than leaving them blank! This is just my viewpoint; ultimately, as long as you use your own images, it's what matters most!
