Fortress 6 Gallon Compressor Repair - No Pressure

I purchased a 6 gallon Fortress air compressor about 4 years ago, and about two months ago it stopped holding pressure. In this video, I open the compressor top and fix the compressor.

Same thing happened to mine. Cheap clamps for a 175 psi compressor. Replaced with proper clamps.

I have the same compressor but the air pressure only goes up to 60 and it doesn't go any higher. Could someone tell me what the problem is?

@@expiri51 mine only goes to like 120 but the sticker says 150 never understood why. Is yours new?

I'm having the same issue and I noticed that the cylinder head was hot only after running for a few minutes

Mine done the same thing the first time.then the hose developed a hole in it.tried many different hoses,finally had to plumb it with flared fittings.so far it has held up.That's the main problem with this compressor.

Easy fix but with the amount of vibration I think that end of the clamp you "tucked" is going to eat thru the copper pipe. Wrap that frayed hose with some electrical tape and use a hose clamp without the "wing" on it and it will be much more compact and won't rub either the connecting rod or pipes.
