I kinda feel sorry for the Wii U. I mean the original Wii sold so rapidly and it had so many games that sold millions but the Wii U is struggling even to sell a quarter of the amount the Wii did. It's just insane how the tides turned so swiftly for Nintendo.

Xenoblade Chronicles should be higher, it was one of the best JRPGs last gen and it definitely helped revitalized the genre in the west after Square Enix fucked it up with the Final Fantasy 13 saga

1:19 me and my older brother watched this video when I was 9 and I just found the old family wii console from the loft and we wanted to find some games to download so we found this... the timestamp is when I was traumatised for life. I never saw anything like that but now i'm 14 and completely desensitised to any gore I've seen online.
I was 11 when my dad got a Wii for my brother and myself. What I love most about the Wii is being able to play gamecube games on it. My first game was Sonic Unleashed which I wanted when I saw a commercial for the game at age 1o along with the console too. Sadly, my brother ALWAYS hogged the Wii and I didn't play my Wii games often. That Wii was in the living room connected to the family TV which was another reason. As an early birthday present for my 18th birthday, my dad got me my own Wii for my room. I was so happy. I'm 23 and I still got my Wii to this day.

I'll say it. Let the haters call me wrong. I hate Super Mario Galaxy 2. It was far too easy to finish, there's less of a story here than ever before, basically no Rosalina until you 100% the game, and the level design, while sometimes interesting, was just bland and forgettable to me. I like the first Mario Galaxy better. It provides more of a challenge, a bit of a more fleshed out story, and better level design. Again, in my opinion.

We won a Nintendo Wii for Christmas in 2009. We had fun playing Wii Sports during Christmas Day, and eventually Wii Sports Resort about a year later. Also I would watch my brother play Mario Kart Wii lol.
One underrated GBA gem is Sonic Battle. It's shows that a melee combat focused Sonic game can be fun. You should also check out the Crash Bandicoot GBA games. They're like playing 2D versions of the Naughty Dog games.

It wasn't really the difficulty that was the downer, it was the fact that the levels were nowhere near as creative or varied compared to the original trilogy. Not to mention the end game content was a whopping ONE LEVEL.

@@callinater6133 Truth. Resort is way better, and Island Flyover could honestly be its own game. The only advantage Sports has is Boxing and some of the crazy fun training modes. Speaking of Boxing, Punch-Out Wii was also fantastic.
@@calebdonaldson8770 yeah. I absolutely adored table tennis in resort (some say it’s the best table tennis game of all time mechanically) and swordplay. And there’s still more and more sports growing on me like archery, frisbee dog and cycling. One of the best motion control centric games of all time (maybe even THE best) if you ask me. Can’t think of any game that handled motion controls better than resort, at least by Nintendo. Can’t speak for other companies.
@@callinater6133 You know, I was playing table tennis and thought the same thing: This controls amazingly! Frisbee dog, cycling, wakeboarding, and of course swordplay are among my favorites. Resort might just be the best sports game Nintendo has ever made. Either that or the Mario Strikers series. Previous attempts at motion controls all flopped, like the notorious power glove. The Wii actually WORKED! It works incredibly well at that! I can put in the same Wii Sports disc on the same console I got 15 years ago and the game works like a charm. Don't know where all the complaints come from...
I’m a playstation fanboy so I had never bought a Wii before. Today I saw a Wii on sale for $25 at EB Games so I thought “why not give it a try”. Now I’m playing Super Mario Galaxy and it’s an amazing game.

Like I've never played Metroid except a download of the second one onto my wii/wiiU. And I would love to see one for the WiiU. The wiiU has so much potential just everyone fails to see it because of Call of Duty and GTA, sure those games are pretty cool but when the PS4 or Xboxone people go out and bash nintendo it makes me pretty mad. Nintendo has so much originality that it brigs to the table.

I was 11 when my dad got a Wii for my brother and myself. What I love most about the Wii is being able to play gamecube games on it. My first game was Sonic Unleashed which I wanted when I saw a commercial for the game at age 1o along with the console too. Sadly, my brother ALWAYS hogged the Wii and I didn't play my Wii games often. That Wii was in the living room connected to the family TV which was another reason.
As an early birthday present for my 18th birthday, my dad got me my own Wii for my room. I was so happy. I'm 23 and I still got my Wii to this day.

I hate Super Mario Galaxy 2. It was far too easy to finish, there's less of a story here than ever before, basically no Rosalina until you 100% the game, and the level design, while sometimes interesting, was just bland and forgettable to me. I like the first Mario Galaxy better. It provides more of a challenge, a bit of a more fleshed out story, and better level design. Again, in my opinion.

We won a Nintendo Wii for Christmas in 2009. We had fun playing Wii Sports during Christmas Day, and eventually Wii Sports Resort about a year later. Also I would watch my brother play Mario Kart Wii lol.

One underrated GBA gem is Sonic Battle. It's shows that a melee combat focused Sonic game can be fun. You should also check out the Crash Bandicoot GBA games. They're like playing 2D versions of the Naughty Dog games.

It wasn't really the difficulty that was the downer, it was the fact that the levels were nowhere near as creative or varied compared to the original trilogy. Not to mention the end game content was a whopping ONE LEVEL.
TheDuckClock their was a few creative levels that I thought were interesting yet hard.
It took me weeks to beat it.

@@callinater6133 Truth. Resort is way better, and Island Flyover could honestly be its own game. The only advantage Sports has is Boxing and some of the crazy fun training modes. Speaking of Boxing, Punch-Out Wii was also fantastic.

And there’s still more and more sports growing on me like archery, frisbee dog and cycling. One of the best motion control centric games of all time (maybe even THE best) if you ask me. Can’t think of any game that handled motion controls better than resort, at least by Nintendo. Can’t speak for other companies.
@@callinater6133 You know, I was playing table tennis and thought the same thing: This controls amazingly! Frisbee dog, cycling, wakeboarding, and of course swordplay are among my favorites. Resort might just be the best sports game Nintendo has ever made. Either that or the Mario Strikers series. Previous attempts at motion controls all flopped, like the notorious power glove. The Wii actually WORKED! It works incredibly well at that! I can put in the same Wii Sports disc on the same console I got 15 years ago and the game works like a charm. Don't know where all the complaints come from...

Like I've never played Metroid except a download of the second one onto my wii/wiiU. And I would love to see one for the WiiU. The wiiU has so much potential just everyone fails to see it because of Call of Duty and GTA, sure those games are pretty cool but when the PS4 or Xboxone people go out and bash nintendo it makes me pretty mad.
