That's the exact model I have and I love it. I haven't cleaned it in a while so I should probably do that. lol. I like all the curves and shading you did. It gave the drawing some depth. Nice work!

These pens are pretty well built so if it was capped, your pen should be OK :).
For me some lamy colors are irresistible, this black is one of them.

I only have a Lamy Safari clone and a few other Chinese fountain pens with almost identical grip sections, but:
To this day I haven't really been able to get used to it.
Actually the main reason why I will never buy a Lamy Safari or any other clones of it.
Understandable, not everyone has the same grip style.
