I have the same morel but the door is stuck lock. How do I unlock it first to replace the part?

Hi Steve. My wash machine model is INDESIT WISL86 IT (italian). This is the problem: when I close the door, I hear the "noise" of mechanical lock but the red led ("door locked") on front panel doesn't light and so the machine doesn't work. I detect this problem even if the machine is without clothes and I try to start the washer's spin cycle. In your opinions, could the problem depend on door lock defect and so it's necessary to replace it? Thanks in advance for your advice. Bye!
