I recently purchased a 2020 Yeti SB130 T2 size Large and I am 5'11' - 182 lbs with a 32" inseam. The bike is a perfect fit for me. Seven rides in with three technical, climbing, rock garden and downhill rides and four flowing XC rides. The bike is a super efficient climber and did not feel too cumbersome on the XC trails. It is a major upgrade on the technical trails coming from a 130/100 cross country bike. Very pleased thus far!
You would probably like it in Moab. The friend of mine at Outerbike with me roade a 130 and 140 Yeti there and loved it. The SB140 was his favorite bike he rode. I wanted to try a SB150, but they were always out of them.
Cool, i am looking at a 2022 130 T-2 with XO in the watermelon color. I sold my 2019 RM Instinct BC about 6 months ago and thinking of another bike, not sure if i want a 130 or 115 though? Doesnt Jason ride those trails too?
Personally I would err on the side of more travel. That 130 feels pretty bottomless, yet it pedals like a dream. I'm loving my '21 altitude though. Yes, yum yum rides Jacob's in lots of his videos for sure.
Hi! In chunky terrain its capable bike? Vs Jeffsy-Ripmo V2-revel Rascal? Any suggestion for long fun days in the saddle, looking light and playfull bike, great in climbs but near to long travel enduro in downhills Any idea about weights? Thx for the feedback
This is a rad bike. A trail bike with the ability to smash chunk. It felt slightly more capable than my rm instinct. My bike has more travel in the rear, but less up front, however with it's switch infinity, the sb gobbled up the chunk and i seriously got a pr on the chunk segment. I think that the sb130 is first, then the instinct, then the Jeffsy. Never rode the Revel. The ripmo is cool, but it was not set up well and it hurt my back. I need to try that again. This sb130 was like 28lbs or something. A joy to climb btw.
Would u still chose the yeti if it was the c1 build /the cheapest build? I demoed the sb130 and I really liked it but it was one of the higher end builds.
@@thetogtube2 Hey. How did it go with the medium. I'm your height (5' 10") but my old Yeti 575 is a medium, and I think a tad too small. If you can let me know how you feel, and what stem you are riding, that'd be great. Much appreciated. Cheers
I'd love it if testers would show some technical climbing. Climbing on a trail that is as flat as pavement says nothing really about the climbing characteristics of a trail/mountainbike. That climb could have been ridden with a gravel grinder. :)
Ahh, well, yea good point. I don't always have all the perfect terrain to demonstrate all aspects of a bikes performance when i snag a bike from someone/somewhere for a short time. But that would be nice.

Thanks for the report! Keep shredding. Jealous of the bike too btw 🚲🚲🚲🚲😁

Yea, I'm super interested in seeing how the 150 pedals

You said the Large was to big and you preferred a medium. How tall are you?
i have the same question :)
Pricey for sure, not a fan of the aesthetics of the link but I bet it plows. Can you do a review on 2020 jeffsy as it now has a 36 and eagle?
Good idea, I might be able to in a few months when i go back to CA
Do a compare please
@@wayboarder I just got my jeffsy comp 27.5 and its sick! Super plush and pedals great

Such a rad bike! Definitely out of my budget, but I can dream, right?? Haha
Yes, it is awesome and yes, we can always dream.
Awesome bike…😎🤘🏻
Indeed!
How does this bike compare to the yt jeffsy cf pro race?
I'd probably choose this one.
@@RideLabs thanks

NICE RIDING! I have been looking into getting one... how tall are you?
5' 9-10", I rode the L, but would prefer a M. Thanks!
@@RideLabs epic... i am 5'10... Medium it is... getting a killer deal :) THANKS!
Lucky! I'm so tempted to sell and het that bike. But i want to try a 150 too.
@@RideLabs Ya the 150 is too much bike for my needs... I was torn between the 100 and 130. CHEERS~!

Well, actually climbing up Jacob's Ladder is very steep. But i don't show it because it is boring to watch. But the bike climbed awesome.
RideLabs I was thinking more technical as in climbing on root sections, rock gardens or just more terrain in general that require more body work. :)

That's the same trail who mtb yum yum do his reviews
Yup. It's a good trail for testing bikes.
I was thinking the same even thou I’ve never been there I’m starting to remember it
I've gotta give a Yeti a pedal.
